Position Summary:

The Performance Marketing Manager is the hands-on growth marketer responsible for executing Munchkin's lower-funnel digital performance engine across DTC and partner traffic initiatives. This role owns the day-to-day management, optimization and reporting of performance channels that drive measurable outcomes, including ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion rate and revenue efficiency. This role will manage paid and organic search strategy, paid social, CTV/STV, affiliate and other measurable acquisition and retargeting channels. The role will support DTC directly while partnering closely with the Head of TikTok Shop on TikTok Shop paid amplification and with Retail Marketing on traffic campaigns that support Amazon, Target, Walmart and other retail partners.

This is not a passive media-coordination role. It is a builder and operator role for someone who can manage channels in the platform, read performance daily, brief creative tests, diagnose what is working and quickly reallocate spend toward the highest-return opportunities.

What you will do:

  •  Own Lower-Funnel Performance Strategy. Develop and execute lower-funnel digital marketing plans across DTC and partner traffic priorities. Manage channel strategy against clear business outcomes, including ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion rate, revenue, contribution economics and customer acquisition quality.
  • Manage Paid Search and Organic Search Strategy. Own paid search and shopping strategy across priority products, campaigns, keywords, bids, feeds and landing destinations. Partner with Marketing, Content and Digital teams on organic search opportunities that improve discoverability, conversion and efficient demand capture.
  • Run Paid Social and Video Performance Channels. Manage direct-response paid social and video channels, including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, CTV/STV and emerging performance platforms. Build audiences, test formats, optimize budgets and connect channel learnings back to creative, merchandising and lifecycle strategy.
  • Build a High-Velocity Creative Testing Engine. Translate channel performance into clear creative briefs for rapid testing across hooks, offers, product benefits, formats, UGC, creator assets and landing-page messages. Feed results back to Brand, Creative, Social and Lifecycle so winning creative patterns scale beyond a single campaign.
  • Own Measurement, Optimization and Reporting. Build clear performance reporting across spend, revenue, ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion, MER where relevant and customer quality. Diagnose what is driving results, separate directional signals from proven learnings and communicate recommended actions with speed and discipline.
  • Connect Paid Media to Lifecycle and First-Party Audiences. Partner with Lifecycle on retargeting, suppression, lookalike, win-back and customer-list strategies. Use first-party data to improve efficiency and ensure paid media and owned channels work together rather than competing for the same customer.
  • Partner on TikTok Shop Paid Strategy. Work with the Head of TikTok Shop on GMV Max, Spark Ads and other TikTok commerce media. Support paid amplification decisions while respecting TikTok Shop ownership of assortment, affiliate economics, platform relationships and Shop P&L.
  • Support Retail Traffic and Retail Media Campaigns. Partner with Retail Marketing on traffic-driving campaigns to Amazon, Target, Walmart and other retail partners as required. Experience with Roundel, Walmart Connect, Amazon PPC/DSP or other retail media platforms is a strong plus.
  • Manage Agencies, Platforms and Affiliate Execution Quality. Manage day-to-day relationships with media agencies, affiliate networks, platform partners and external specialists where applicable. Set clear scopes, testing plans, KPIs and reporting expectations, while staying close enough to execution to identify issues quickly.
  • Build the Performance Marketing Operating Rhythm. Create repeatable processes for budget pacing, test planning, creative requests, weekly readouts, landing-page feedback, campaign QA and performance decisions. Bring a high-accountability, test-and-learn mindset to a capability that is still being scaled.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

You will bring:

  • 5-8+ years across digital performance marketing, growth, paid media or eCommerce, with meaningful hands-on ownership of lower-funnel channels for a consumer brand, retailer, marketplace seller or high-performing agency.
  • Direct experience with paid search, shopping, paid social and video performance channels. Exposure to Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google/Bing, CTV/STV, affiliate and emerging performance channels strongly valued.
  • Strong command of ROAS, CPA, CAC, MER, conversion rate, incrementality signals, budget pacing and channel contribution. Able to balance growth, efficiency and cutomer quality.
  • Strong understanding of paid search, shopping feeds, keyword strategy, query behavior, product landing destinations and organic search opportunities that capture existing demand.
  • Ability to read creative performance, brief rapid-fire tests and identify which messages, hooks, offers, formats and landing-page experiences improve conversion.
  • Experience with Amazon PPC/DSP, Walmart Connect, Roundel or other retail media platforms is a strong plus, especially where campaigns drive measurable retail partner traffic or sales.
  • Comfortable working directly in media platforms and managing agencies or external partners. Able to set clear testing plans, performance expectations and operating rhythms.
  • High agency, high pace and high accountability. Comfortable in a lean organization where the performance playbook is still being built and the channel owner stays close to execution.
