  • Monitoring and Analytics: Implement performance monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address bottlenecks.

About The Role
  • Code Profiling and Analysis: Use advanced profiling tools to identify performance issues and work with developers to implement optimizations.
  • Collaborative Improvement: Partner with product teams to design and develop performance-focused features and enhancements.
  • Infrastructure Enhancement: Contribute to the development of our frontend infrastructure libraries to improve performance and scalability.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Guide and mentor team members on performance best practices and optimization techniques.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the different teams across the organization optimizing and advising on how to write performant code

Our Tech Stack:

  • Frontend: React, Redux, Mobx, Zustand, TypeScript, Webpack, Vite
  • Backend: Node.js, Ruby on Rails, 
  • Performance Tools: Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Chrome DevTools, Webpack Bundle Analyzer
  • Testing & CI/CD: Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Vitest



Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on performance.
  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and the native browser ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of React and state management libraries like Redux.
  • Performance Optimization Skills:
  • Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of web performance metrics (e.g., TTI, TTFB, FID) and how to optimize them.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex performance issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-Learner: Proactive in learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Advantageous Experience:
  • Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and Service Workers.
  • Understanding of Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and caching strategies.
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and code-splitting techniques.
