At Ketryx, we’re building the AI platform that lets medical‑device and pharmaceutical teams release life‑saving products in weeks instead of years. Our technology shreds compliance paperwork, erasing the old trade‑off between innovation and regulation.

In just two years, we serve 25 million patients, power three of the world’s top five MedTech companies, and serve a quarter of the Fortune 500 MedTech market—backed by Lightspeed and founded by the former Head of AI at Amgen and the CTO of Wolfram Cloud. Life sciences is only our first chapter; next comes automotive, aerospace, energy—any sector where safety is non‑negotiable. Join us and help build the AI engine for safe innovation everywhere.

The Role

Ketryx is hiring its first People Operations Manager, a builder-leader who will partner closely with our Senior People Operations Manager to scale our people function and power the next phase of our rocket-ship growth. Backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners and already trusted by global life-science giants, we’re one of Boston’s fastest-growing B2B startups. You’ll be the hands-on expert to help build the infrastructure and systems that support our 90% FTE growth rate annually, ensuring a seamless employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. If you thrive on ownership, scale, and the adrenaline of building something that truly matters, we’d love to meet you.

About You

You're a hands-on operator who loves bouncing from streamlining the onboarding process in the morning to analyzing employee engagement data with the Senior People Operations Manager in the afternoon. You thrive in the dynamic, purpose-driven pace of a startup doubling in size annually and excel at creating structure from ambiguity. You're confident in your ability to manage core HR functions, ensure compliance, and partner with leaders to make Ketryx an iconic company in the making. If this sounds exciting to you and you’re driven to build, strategize, and support all at once, let’s talk.

Responsibilities
  • Administer the full employee lifecycle, from seamless onboarding and benefits enrollment to offboarding and exit interviews.
  • Manage and optimize our HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy, generate reports, and improve process efficiency.
  • Partner with the Senior People Operations Manager to develop, implement, and maintain scalable People Ops policies and procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and payroll, ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal and state labor laws, with a strong focus on Massachusetts regulations.
  • Support the performance management process by assisting with the setup, communication, and administration of performance cycles.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new hire.
  • Analyze People Ops metrics (e.g., employee engagement, retention) and provide insights to help shape our people strategy.
Requirements & Skills
  • People Operations Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on People Operations or HR Generalist experience in high-growth tech or life-science companies.
  • Startup Athlete: Thrives in a fast-paced, "build-while-we-fly" environment, switching seamlessly between hands-on administrative tasks and high-level strategy.
  • Process Builder: Experience building and refining scalable processes for core HR functions (onboarding, benefits, policies, etc.).
  • Compliance & HRIS Acumen: Strong working knowledge of federal and Massachusetts labor laws and demonstrated proficiency with HRIS platforms.
  • Influence & Empathy: A trusted partner to employees and leaders, able to build strong relationships, resolve issues with empathy, and provide sound business judgment.
  • Project Management: Experience leading or assisting with the implementation of People Ops projects (e.g., new HRIS, performance review cycle).
