Why this role matters
Content is not just a marketing function at BlueConic, it’s a growth function. We're looking for a Director of Content who will build a powerful, customer-led content engine that fuels demand generation, supports sales, and strengthens customer engagement and expansion. Your work will amplify our unique point of view in the market, drive pipeline momentum, and deepen loyalty with our existing customers.
What you’ll own
- The Content Flywheel: Architect and operate a content engine that accelerates both net new pipeline and customer expansion, creating reusable, scalable, and high-impact assets across the funnel.
- Thought Leadership & POV Development: Shape and socialize BlueConic’s unique point of view. Develop high-caliber content that positions us as a credible authority in CDP, data strategy, and AI-powered marketing.
- Customer-Led Content Strategy: Bring the voice of our customer into every narrative, from case studies to community insights to long-form research. Build frameworks for capturing and amplifying real-world outcomes, customer stories, and emerging challenges.
- Original Research & Insights: Lead the creation of proprietary research that gives BlueConic a seat at the table. Build repeatable processes for generating, packaging, and promoting data-backed insights.
- AI-Enabled Content Operations: Design and test new workflows that incorporate generative AI to scale content production without sacrificing quality or originality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner deeply with demand gen, product marketing, customer marketing, sales, and product to align content strategy with business goals. You’ll become the connective tissue across teams.
- Measurement & Optimization: Define KPIs and regularly evaluate the performance of content against pipeline, conversion, and customer engagement goals.
- 7+ years in content strategy, content marketing, or editorial leadership, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Proven success driving measurable pipeline and customer engagement through content.
- Experience building thought leadership and original research programs that resonate with technical and business audiences.
- A deep understanding of the marketing funnel and how content fuels each stage of it.
- Passion for AI and experimentation; familiarity with how AI can be applied to content workflows and marketing efficiency.
- Strong customer intuition, you seek to understand their challenges, goals, and language before creating anything.
- Exceptional storytelling skills and editorial judgment.
- Highly collaborative with a bias toward action and alignment.
- Experience working with product, sales, and marketing teams to identify content opportunities and amplify outcomes.
