About BlueConic

Hurry up! We’ve got a dream to build!

At BlueConic, we’re reinventing how businesses grow by transforming customer data into real-time intelligence and action. As the creators of the industry's first Customer Growth Engine (CGE), we help brands move beyond traditional CDPs to a smarter, faster model for growth—powered by AI, built for privacy, and designed to create meaningful value across the customer lifecycle.

Join us in shaping the future of customer engagement—where businesses don’t just collect data, but turn it into their next competitive advantage.

BlueConic is the customer growth engine for commerce. Our AI-powered platform gives commerce brands the ability to transform how they operate—using unified, actionable first-party data to drive relevance, loyalty, and revenue growth. Backed by Vista Equity Partners, BlueConic powers growth for top-tier brands across retail and CPG.

We’re on a mission to help companies liberate their data to grow customer value—and we’re looking for a strategic, results-oriented marketing leader to help fuel that growth.

The Role: Senior Director of Demand Generation

We’re seeking a bold, data-driven Senior Director of Demand Generation to build and scale a demand engine that delivers measurable, high-quality pipeline at scale.

This leader will be accountable for our pipeline creation goals, responsible for both the strategy and execution of integrated campaigns, events, and ABM efforts that generate demand across the entire buyer’s journey — from awareness to closed/won. You'll work cross-functionally with sales, content, product marketing, revenue operations, and customer marketing to ensure our demand engine is tuned for efficiency, precision, and velocity.

This role is equal parts architect and builder: you know how to set strategy, but you love rolling up your sleeves to execute, iterate, and optimize. You’re passionate about team development, but equally obsessed with hitting the number.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline & Revenue Ownership

  • Own the new business pipeline target and serve as the marketing team’s key stakeholder in revenue growth.
  • Build and execute a full-funnel demand gen strategy that drives ICP-fit leads that convert to opportunities—and close.
  • Define, measure, and continuously improve marketing’s contribution to pipeline, with clear attribution and ROI.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly integrated campaign plans aligned to business priorities, buyer pain points, and sales plays.
  • Partner with product marketing and content to turn BlueConic’s Customer Growth Engine™ positioning into compelling narratives that drive engagement.
  • Launch and scale ABM programs tailored to high-priority segments and strategic accounts.

Events & Field Marketing

  • Lead our field and event marketing strategy — from industry conferences to BlueConic-owned experiences — to create high-quality pipeline and deepen partner and customer relationships.
  • Create unique, memorable experiences that cut through the noise and drive measurable results.

Customer Marketing

  • Partner with the Customer Marketing team to create and execute programs that drive expansion, retention, and advocacy within our customer base.
  • Leverage customer stories, insights, and feedback to fuel demand generation campaigns, improve messaging resonance, and accelerate both acquisition and retention.

Sales Alignment & Feedback Loops

  • Build a tight, transparent partnership with the sales team to align on goals, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish joint accountability with sales for conversion rates, opportunity quality, and pipeline acceleration.

Lead BlueConic’s AI-Driven Demand Generation Transformation

  • Champion AI adoption to redesign the demand generation strategy from the ground up, leveraging AI for targeting, creative development, channel optimization, lead scoring, predictive forecasting, and buyer journey orchestration.
  • Operationalize AI across every stage of the demand engine, including predictive audience segmentation, AI-assisted content personalization, intelligent spend optimization, automated experimentation, and AI-driven ABM, with measurable goals tied to efficiency, conversion, and pipeline velocity.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and grow a high-performing demand generation team with clear goals, mentorship, and performance expectations.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and results.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Define KPIs and build dashboards to track lead progression, funnel conversion, program ROI, and velocity through the pipeline.
  • Use data to diagnose gaps, run experiments, and drive continuous optimization across all channels.
You’ll Be Measured On
  • Pipeline Generation: Marketing-sourced and influenced new business pipeline creation (monthly, quarterly, annual targets).
  • Lead Quality & Conversion: % of leads from campaigns that are ICP-fit, convert to opportunities, and ultimately close.
  • Campaign ROI: Performance and efficiency of programs across paid, owned, earned, and events.
  • Sales Partnership: Sales satisfaction and adoption of campaign programs; conversion rate improvement in collaboration with SDR/AE teams.
  • Team Performance: Hiring, mentoring, and retention of high-performing demand marketers.
What You Bring
  • 8–12+ years of B2B SaaS demand generation experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role owning pipeline targets.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable, scalable growth through integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Deep experience partnering closely with sales; a shared sense of revenue accountability is a must.
  • Strong command of campaign strategy, ABM, marketing automation (HubSpot or Marketo), intent data, and modern go-to-market tech stacks.
  • Strategic thinker with bias for action: you think big, act fast, and learn quickly.
  • Inspirational team leader who can coach, challenge, and grow a team.
  • Experience in retail or CPG tech (or with similar enterprise buyer journeys) is a plus.
Why You’ll Thrive at BlueConic
  • We’re not just marketing software. We’re building the Customer Growth Engine™—a transformational way for brands to unlock value from their first-party data and grow customer relationships like never before.
  • You’ll be part of a high-growth, collaborative environment where your impact on pipeline and revenue is visible and celebrated.
  • You'll have the autonomy to innovate, the support to execute, and the opportunity to grow with a company on a bold trajectory.
