About the Role
At Definitive Healthcare the Partner Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships with key partners to help drive the growth of our business. This role involves overseeing partnership initiatives, negotiating agreements, and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for the organization and its partners. This role will create and execute go to market strategies for partner engagement collaborating across all go to market cross functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering).
What You'll Do
Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic partnership strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities and evaluate their fit with organizational priorities

Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and industry influencers
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring their needs and expectations are met

Partnership Execution:
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic partnerships, including technology partners, data partners, system integrators, and industry influencers
  • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements to ensure adherence and optimize partner satisfaction and performance
  • Drive revenue growth and other measurable outcomes through successful partnerships

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent work experience .
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, strategic partnerships, or related role
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of independence to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, build partnership strategy, assess market opportunity / competitive landscape, and develop financial / business models
  • Consistent track record of building high trust relationships and driving consensus internally across product, marketing, legal, finance, sales and more; proficiency leading discussions about complex business decisions with executive leadership
  • Experience in negotiating complex legal agreements with large, strategic partners
  • Ability to act as a creative, strategic problem solver, proactively seeking opportunities to positively impact the business
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and make data-driven decisions
  • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and other relevant tools

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $128,000 per year, which represents the base pay the company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience and qualifications.
This role is also eligible for a commission plan based on sales performance, in accordance with the company's commission policy.
