About Flex

Flex was founded to solve a simple but costly problem: making it easy for health and wellness brands to accept HSA and FSA payments online. We're backed by First Round, Core VC, Rethink Capital power checkout for Equinox, Dermstore, Therabody, and Ultrahuman to name a few. For years, only giants like Amazon and Walmart could process these payments at checkout, leaving smaller merchants - and their customers - to deal with frustrating reimbursement paperwork.

Our technology verifies product eligibility in real time, handles split payments for eligible and non-eligible items, and can even issue Letters of Medical Necessity during checkout. With $150 billion in annual HSA/FSA spending potential, we’re giving brands the tools to unlock new revenue and making it easier for consumers to use the benefits they’ve earned.

About the Role

We're looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing marketing team. You'll work closely with our Partner Marketing Lead and the rest of the marketing team to develop and execute co-marketing strategy across a portfolio of merchant partners. From marketing launches of new partners to always-on programs that drive ongoing adoption, you'll run 360 campaigns across owned and paid channels to fuel mutual growth for Flex and our partners. This role is ideal for a marketing generalist who can wear many hats and think holistically about how to plan, launch, and scale partner marketing campaigns end-to-end.

What You'll Do

  • Run the marketing launch of new partners and drive ongoing adoption through campaigns and always-on programs

  • Support the Partner Marketing Lead on annual co-marketing planning with top partners, balancing tentpole campaigns with always-on programs

  • Drive day-to-day execution of 360 marketing campaigns across social, email, marketplace, and beyond, including cross-merchant campaign activity

  • Act as the main day-to-day marketing contact for marketing leads, building and nurturing those external relationships

  • Collaborate with Partner Success, Sales, and Marketing to align on goals and grow our partnerships

  • Work closely with the Partner Success team and keep them informed on marketing best practices, sharing playbooks and learnings from across our portfolio

  • Build and maintain the internal processes and external documentation that keep a high volume of partner campaigns launching on time

  • Apply a test-and-learn mentality across creative concepts, paid and organic channels, and partner playbooks, iterating quickly on what works

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of relevant marketing experience

  • Marketing generalist with experience managing 360 campaigns across creative asset development, performance, social, CRM, events, and more

  • Track record of running integrated co-marketing campaigns across multiple channels and partners simultaneously

  • Detail-oriented operator with a focus on launching campaigns on time and meeting partner needs

  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, adapts quickly to change, and takes personal ownership of hands-on delivery

  • Strong relationship-builder, comfortable pitching ideas and collaborating across internal and external teams

  • Creatively driven, with a pulse on culture and consumer behavior

  • Owner mindset: deeply curious, challenges how things are done, with a strong bias for action

  • Experience with consumer brands or at B2B2C businesses

Nice to Have

  • Affiliate marketing experience, including managing affiliate programs or working with affiliate networks, publishers, or agencies

  • Agency experience, including managing multiple accounts, playing a client services role, and project managing end-to-end

  • Experience working at or with ecommerce brands, studios, gyms, or similar consumer-facing businesses, with the ability to think like a merchant when planning campaigns

  • Experience supporting a technical product

  • Fintech experience

Why Join Flex
  • A mission-driven team making healthcare spending effortless

  • Early-stage impact - your work will directly shape our growth and success

  • Collaborative, high-trust, and transparent culture

  • Competitive compensation and equity package

  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
