This is an opportunity to be a key contributor at a pivotal time in our company’s growth and at a pivotal point in computing history.This is a pivotal role on our partner marketing team. As the first dedicated marketing professional focused on our channel partners in the Americas, you will have the unique opportunity to build and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy from the ground up. You will be instrumental in driving demand, fostering partner engagement, and contributing directly to VAST Data's ambitious growth plans. This role is perfect for a self-starter who is eager to make a significant impact and grow with a fast-paced, innovative company.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and Execute Channel Marketing Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for our channel partners in the Americas, with a focus on VARs and Distribution partners. You will work closely with key focus partners, including Ahead, Cambridge, CDW, Computacenter, Pellera (Converge + Mainline), Penguin, Presidio, SHI, Trace3, and WWT.
  • Scale Partner Programs: Collaborate with the Director of Partner Marketing and channel sales leadership to build and execute scalable marketing programs that drive partner-sourced and influenced revenue.
  • Partner Portal Implementation: Lead the marketing requirements and implementation of a new partner portal, ensuring it becomes a central hub for marketing resources, training, and communication.
  • Campaigns-in-a-Box: Create and manage "campaigns-in-a-box" and other turnkey marketing programs that our partners can easily execute to generate demand for VAST Data solutions.
  • Partner Communications: Own the channel partner communications strategy, including newsletters, webinars, and other initiatives to keep our partners informed and engaged.
  • MDF Management: Play a key role in leveraging MDF (Market Development Funds), from Cisco to fund and execute joint marketing activities with our channel partners.
  • Corporate Event Integration: Manage channel partner participation and marketing support for major industry and VAST-led events such as GTC, Supercompute, and VAST Forward.
  • Content and Collateral Development: Work with product marketing and other teams to create and adapt marketing content and collateral for our channel partners, including web copy, presentations, and datasheets.
  • Budget Management: Manage the channel marketing budget and track the ROI of all marketing activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product marketing, and corporate marketing teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of all partner marketing initiatives.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or a similar role in the B2B technology industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful partner marketing programs that drive measurable results.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience with partner relationship management (PRM) systems and partner portals is a strong plus.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
