This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Paralegal. They operate in the U.S. family law sector and have continued to grow in recent years by delivering consistent legal support and maintaining strong client relationships. This role supports attorneys with day-to-day family law matters and requires direct client interaction, strong drafting skills, and disciplined billable time tracking.

Responsibilities
  • Support family law cases by gathering information, organizing documents, and maintaining accurate case files.

  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence under attorney guidance.

  • Track and record billable hours accurately and consistently.

  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and text to provide updates and collect required documentation.

  • Coordinate with courts and external parties as needed.

  • Maintain case records and workflows within Clio.

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation and ongoing case management.

  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Operate independently with minimal supervision while keeping attorneys informed of case status.



Requirements
  • Prior experience as a paralegal in U.S. family law.

  • Proven experience tracking and managing billable hours.

  • Strong writing and drafting skills.

  • Comfort interacting directly with clients and legal institutions.

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Qualifications
  • Experience supporting attorneys in family law matters.

  • Proficiency using Clio or similar legal case management software.

  • Confidence handling client-facing responsibilities.

  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work without constant oversight.
