In This Role
In this role, you will support a centralized legal intake and triage function that assists business teams with routine commercial legal matters. You will act as a first point of contact for incoming legal requests, help gather and organize required information, analyze which legal or compliance considerations may apply, and prepare draft guidance for review by senior paralegals and legal professionals. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to communicate clearly while working across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTriage incoming commercial legal requests through a shared legal workspace and route matters to appropriate internal resources
Support routine legal processes and standard commercial matters under supervision
Escalate complex or high-risk issues to senior paralegals or legal team members for deeper review
Collect relevant information from business partners to support legal analysis and decision-making
Assist with reviewing, organizing, and drafting recommended guidance for legal and compliance matters
Maintain, update, and organize Legal Self-Help and business readiness resources
Track requests, deadlines, and case status to ensure timely follow-up and resolution
Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, matter routing, and knowledge management
Use internal tools, databases, and document management systems to support legal operations
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality
Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or equivalent training
OR 1+ year of experience in paralegal support, legal administration, or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze policies, legal documents, and procedural guidance
Comfort working independently with minimal direction while managing priorities
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through ambiguity
Service-oriented mindset with a focus on responsiveness and accuracy
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience in paralegal support, legal administration, or a related area
Experience supporting legal teams within a technology company or law firm environment
Familiarity with legal research tools, document management systems, or internal compliance platforms
Experience drafting and reviewing legal or compliance-related documents
Exposure to CRM or case management systems (nice to have, not required)
Strong interest in technology and learning new tools and processes
Salary Range
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.
For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $20 to $22 hourly. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
