We have an exciting opportunity to be the Operations, Supply Chain & Quality (OSCQ) Finance Senior Manager primarily for the Strategic Sensors and Precision Strike (SSPS) Sub Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) within the ASDS SBU team. The SSPS SSBU Finance Senior Manager will be responsible for the planning and reporting of all OSCQ Finance activities for the SSBU and will be the financial execution business partner supporting OSCQ functional leads and the program office. You must leverage proactive leadership ability to meet aggressive deadlines as well as multitask across a variety of programs and work with all levels of the organization. TPY-2 is the primary program that this role will support but the scope will include other parts of the SSPS SSBU and may also include support for other SSBUs.

This role is being offered as a hybrid role and is based on the needs of the business. Relocation assistance is not being provided. Commuting to Tewksbury, MA and Andover, MA is expected to support the SSPS portfolio (as needed based on business needs).

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team of two M4 managers and several analyst team members focused on OSC operational, financial, and program performance metrics

  • Responsible for hiring, developing and managing a staff of several financial professionals

  • Be an integral program team member working closely with the OSC SSBU – Material Program Managers (MPMs) & Program Operations Managers (POMs), OSC Finance & PMO finance teams to ensure accurate measurement, control, and understanding of reported costs and schedules

  • Prepare data to analyze and help drive the quarterly EAC review process with OSC SSBU – MPMs & POMs & OSC Finance team

  • Develop analysis to support OSC Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & monthly reviews (PER/MBR/S&OP/S&OE)

  • Prepare management level assessments of product performance to review strategic direction and cost profile

  • Prepare financial plans, monitor implementation of budget policy, prepare regular and special purpose reports, maintain historical records, analyze trends, support the establishment of cost rates and forecasts

  • Interpret budgetary policies and procedures and prepare comparative evaluation of actual costs against budget and determine rationale for variances

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies including Sarbanes/Oxley and EVMS/EAC requirements

  • Responsible for directing activities to meet critical deadlines with accurate and auditable data

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) & Estimates at Complete (EAC) process

  • Experience with APEX, PRISM, material and labor ETC tools and/or other related tools

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and lead teams to success

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet multiple commitments as expected

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
