Ops Reporting & Performance Analyst

Hybrid role (3 days/week in office) at our Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, Portland, Vancouver, Renton, Medford, Burlington, and Lewiston offices. Preference will be given to current employees and candidates who reside within a commutable distance from our Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo and Lewiston offices or who are willing to relocate.

Every day, Cambia’s dedicated team of Ops Reporting & Performance Analysts (ORPAs) is living our mission to make health care easier and lives better. As a member of the Data Analytics team, our ORPAs manage and report on operations metrics, perform technical and analytical support, drive process improvements, and lead continuous improvement efforts aligned with divisional and corporate goals – all in service of making our members’ health journeys easier.

What You Bring to Cambia: 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; or 4+ years of equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in report preparation, project documentation, or policy and procedure writing

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data mining tools and methods

  • Proven ability to design, develop, and deliver reporting and analytics

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and synthesize solutions

  • Knowledge of health plan operations, data sources, and data structures

  • Experience creating SOPs, documentation management, and knowledge management

  • Ability to document business requirements accurately and with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated success in project management and implementation delivery

  • Experience with operational issue resolution

  • Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making highly desired

  • Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Comfortable presenting to and advocating for projects before senior leadership

  • Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence change

What You Will Do at Cambia:  

  • Design, develop, and deliver reporting and analytics that support operational needs across the division

  • Identify root causes, surface issues proactively, and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency

  • Apply knowledge of health plan operations, data sources, and cost containment strategies to drive informed decision-making

  • Develop methodologies and approaches for new tasks, projects, and analytical challenges

  • Document business requirements, methods, and work outputs to ensure clarity and consistency

  • Drive analytic innovation and best practices, actively eliminating inefficient use of resources

  • Support cross-departmental collaboration by assembling and distributing key data and insights to stakeholders

Pay ranges vary based on the candidate's work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.

  • Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: The expected hiring range is $73,500 - $94,500, the full salary range is $65,000 - $107,000 and the bonus target is 10%.

  • North Dakota: The expected hiring range is $68,673 - $86,588 and the full salary range is $59,716 - $95,546.
