Bullhorn is looking for a Manager, Web Strategy + Operations to join our Marketing team.
Why this job is important:
Bullhorn’s core purpose is to create an incredible customer experience, and this starts with you. You will be responsible for managing Bullhorn’s global website strategy, influencing the way we interact with prospective clients, customers, and key external audiences in an effort to create positive engagements with our brand and to drive demand for our growing product suite.
This person will work closely with the broader marketing team, as well as other key stakeholders within the business, to bring key web projects to fruition, share results, and also recommendations for future web-related enhancements.
This role will be responsible for managing a web developer, as well as managing external relationships with our web agency partners and hosting provider. The Bullhorn corporate website is the number one digital asset we have, generating the vast majority of the leads we pass to the sales team, and the person in this role will own the web optimization testing strategy, management of key web initiatives, and overall monitoring and analysis of site performance to improve conversion across the board.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is exceptionally detail-oriented, organized, proficient in modern web best practices, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
A typical day might include:
- Reviewing inbound web requests and working with the team to allocate resources
- Leading web project initiatives and collaborating with the broader team on an execution and launch plan- Continuously performing A/B testing to optimize web performance for stronger conversion
- Working closely with all members of the marketing team to ensure all web content is up-to-date and reflects our current positioning
- Working cross functionally with the security and development teams to ensure strong site health
- Reporting out on key web performance metrics, conducting root cause analysis and proactively making recommendations
This role may be for you if:
- You have at least 3-5 years in web strategy and/or operations roles, either for a corporate or an agency
- You have extensive knowledge of Google Analytics and other web tracking/testing technologies
- You have worked with web agencies to bring web projects from conception to completion
- You have very strong project management experience and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
- You have very strong written and verbal communication skills in addition to analytical skills
- You are a self-starter and enjoy working in a team setting
Bonus points for:
- Experience as a web developer and/or web designer
- Experience managing a web developer or team of developers
