Cricket Health is looking for a driven leader to be our VP of Real Estate & Center Development to oversee all pre-development, development, construction and maintenance of our innovative kidney health centers and corporate offices.

This is a critical role for Cricket Health as we embark on an ambitious growth plan. We are looking for candidates with deep experience in real estate as well as excellent communication, team leadership and project management skills. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, that has good attention to detail and that can build our real estate development, and construction management capabilities from the ground up. You will be responsible for recruiting a team to execute on our company’s vision. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Clinic Development: including clinic design and budget creation and approval, site selection, subcontract negotiation, and project management
  • Real Estate Portfolio Planning: understand our commitments to customers, anticipate future real estate needs and create clear timelines and deadlines for meeting those commitments
  • Portfolio Management: build and manage pipeline and individual project budgets, track budget-versus-actual performance through project execution and identify ways to course-correct, if necessary
  • Facilities Management: oversee the management of all existing facilities and leases, including lease renegotiation and facility maintenance
  • Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders: including vendors, consultants, real estate agents, designers, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, brokers, architects, and Cricket’s internal teams (especially IT, Legal, Finance and Operations)
  • Build a team from scratch
  • Office expansion: including site selection, negotiating subcontracts, managing the design and construction to schedule and budget

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in real estate development
  • Deep external vendor and contract negotiation experience
  • Execution & detail-orientation
  • Excellent cost and schedule management skills
  • Ability to work independently and react quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • Healthcare clinic development experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with different real estate financing vehicles
