Vice President, Global S & OP

We are looking for an individual who has proven experience in developing, managing, optimizing complex business processes with many cross functional areas specifically around a global sales and operations planning strategy (Global S&OP). This role requires an individual with a passion for analytics, operational process development, and a willingness be agile and adapt to changing trends. Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail and be motivated by a fast-paced start-up environment and will be comfortable problem solving at a macro level and diving deep where necessary.
This is a cross-functional role driving near-term and long-term strategic objectives within SharkNinja Global S&OP process. The position will thrive at the forefront of category growth while developing and executing processes in a highly dynamic environment. This is a high-visibility roll to drive key business decisions to achieve near-term as well as longer-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
•Accountable for the architecture and successful rollout of an outcome focused Global S&OP that enables SharkNinja to maximize its global sales while delivering on financial and operational targets
•Partner with and integrate our cross-functional teams from headquarters and the regions, including Product Development, Strategic Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics and Distribution to drive maturity in our Sales and Operations Planning approach
•Own the deliverables, cadence, action items and overall weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Global S&OP processes
•Hold appropriate personnel, including functional leaders and global leadership, to deliver on agreed to actions for mitigation of risk or realization of opportunities as identified via S&OP. Escalate to leadership team as appropriate
•Develop scorecards and comprehensive executive deliverables to bring together global cross functional inputs from portfolio review, demand planning, supply planning, Factories, Logistics, and Financials to clearly illustrate and deliver against the outcomes of Global S&OP
•Ensure data inputs generated by functions are accurate and efficient for the Global S&OP. Coaching, mentoring, initiation and tracking of improvement projects, where required
•Ensure identification, monitoring and reporting of assumptions, risks and opportunities related to the short and long-term business targets are achieved
•Partner with each functional area to develop the necessary outputs from each functional area within the Global S&OP process
•Coordinates the activities of department management, and provides direction and assistance on resolution of complex issues and potential problems related to production planning and demand management
•Accountable to define key metrics of S&OP and track benefits and improvements to the business
•Aligns resources, prioritizes strategies, establishes targets, and implements cost-out initiatives for S&OP and efforts
•Ensure efficient communication across functional teams for any trends, drivers, and takeaways in a clear and concise manner
•Drive the focus of the consumer through each facet of the Global S&OP process
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; MBA a plus
•12+ years of experience with S&OP, building and managing high performing teams, developing relationships and managing internal stakeholders
•Proven track record standing up and sustaining formal global, S&OP process or in driving significant growth in S&OP maturity
•Global S&OP experience within the consumer products industry
•Direct to Consumer experience is a plus
•Ability to travel globally, up to 25%
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences
•Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as well as strong skills as a negotiator to reach consensus, alignment and commitment
•Project management skills to manage overall transformation and continuous improvement projects across multiple geographies and business functions
•Change management and transformational change experience
•Able to develop solutions to complex problems which require an in-depth degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovativeness
•Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met
•Experience successfully executing multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
•Experience delivering on critical challenges on the executive level
•Experience mentoring, leading, and influencing teams
