Job Description

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our team! The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience supporting medium to large networks, data center management, cloud infrastructure management, a good understanding of network security, and a desire to stay current with new technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring of datacenter and cloud infrastructure
  • Managing, supporting, and improving existing systems
  • Research and implement new technologies
  • Maintaining and developing standards and procedures
  • Participate in troubleshooting and RCA for security and Infrastructure events
  • Works closely with outside vendors to plan and complete projects
  • Contributing to the development of organizational goals and objectives
  • Performing other duties as required


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years progressive, relevant IT experience
  • Ability to function effectively under minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of both cloud and on-premise infrastructure, which include but are not limited to: AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V
  • Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with Firewall systems, preferably Palo Alto, NSG, and Watch Guard
  • Understanding of networking configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience working in the framework of ISO and SOC2 requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server OS’s; deployment, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of configuring and managing APIs and automation/scripting (Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Good understanding of Cryptography/encryption concepts, methods, and processes
  • Experience with on-prem or cloud-based key management solutions like AWS KMS and/or Azure Key Vault
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations
  • Strong demonstration of “systems thinking,” analytical and problem-solving skills
