Sr Manager, FP&A Operations & Supply Chain
The position of Sr. Manager, FP &A Global Operations & Supply Chain within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department, will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Needham, MA. To be successful you must combine strong analytical and qualitative skills with solid leadership and communication skills.
This role is central to the synchronization and execution of Finance processes within SharkNinja’s highly visible Global Operations and Supply Chain departments, serving as a critical member of the FP&A team, and key partner to the EVP of Global Operations.
You will manage the Global Operations strategic finance initiatives, along with driving Operations FP&A budgeting and reporting. This is an important role within the Finance organization that requires a self-starter with the ability to partner with multiple levels of the Operations and Finance leadership team to clearly understand Operations financial performance and drive continuous improvement. The individual will be involved in executing Financial Planning and Analysis, alongside Operational Finance tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, management reporting and transaction analysis. These duties require considerable initiative, tact, maturity, and independent judgment. The person must possess strong interpersonal and organization skills.

Reporting to the Vice President of FP&A, this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment where keen attention to detail and the ability to work nimbly with cross-functional teams is crucial to success.
Essential Functions
- Provide leadership and financial expertise for the Global Operations team, through close partnership and an action-based mindset to simplify overall processes, validate the financial integrity of projects, enhance reporting and visibility that drive results
- Build and generate Excel-based models, adhoc analysis, dashboards, and presentations from a variety of different data sources, including ERP data, BI systems and auto generated data tables
- Monthly responsibility for forecasting and variance analysis on specific P&L line items, creating and/or refining processes and models where necessary to improve speed and quality of insight
- Collaborate with Finance team and independently across the company to provide analysis and insight to key stakeholders, including company leadership, in core process as well as on a project basis, including ROI analysis and cost optimization review
- Approach daily work and drive long term continuous improvement through the Operations Finance organization by sharing of best practices, standardizing processes, and problem solving
- Build and generate analysis from a variety of different data sources and functional groups
- Ability to condense complex topics into actionable information, communicated effectively and clearly to non-financial functions to drive understanding, change, and value creation
- Ad hoc analytics and other duties, including special projects, as assigned, or independently identified
- Responsible for 1 direct report, expanding to 2 by end of year, early next
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration related field required
- Previous experience in FP&A, with budgeting and analysis expertise, management of direct reports preferred
- Able to handle multiple projects and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment while remaining detail oriented and ensuring deadlines are met
- Strong & proven communication, with interpersonal, analytical, and organization skills that allow for cross functional collaboration
- Advanced MS Excel / Office skills required, especially the need for exceptional modeling skill in Excel
- Ability to analyze complex and voluminous data and translate it into actionable information
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships in a fast-changing environment with multiple customers and evaluators
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational messages
