The Director of Revenue Training & Enablement will focus on defining the global revenue training & enablement strategy, while also developing programs and optimizing materials/content based on insights. They will be responsible for measuring effectiveness of programs and collaborating with stakeholders to streamline processes across training & enablement strategy, content, product and technology. This individual will also have the opportunity to build and grow a team heading up the Revenue Training & Enablement function within the Operations organization. This role will start out managing two program managers and report directly to the VP, Operations.

What you'll do:

  • Define global revenue training & enablement strategy across all customer-facing teams (Marketing, Sales/BDR, CS/Onboarding, Buyer) partnering closely with leadership and key stakeholders
  • Develop, design and deploy enablement and training programs and initiatives; New hire role specific onboarding, Marketing/Sales training & coaching, CS/Onboarding training & coaching, Buyer training & coaching
  • Training (in tandem with SME, Product, PMM, Dir. Procurement Innovation, Sr. Mgr Market Research, Managers) on solutions, processes, policies, products, tools/systems and SaaS industry knowledge specifically ICP/Persona, target market, etc.
  • Determine when it makes sense to bring in 3rd party trainers to accelerate curriculum and providing industry subject matter expertise beyond internal resources
  • Onboarding and ongoing knowledge distribution
  • Responsible for documentation and optimization of materials/content based on insights
  • Content creation and updating materials - scripts, sequences, battle cards (partner with Marketing/PMM especially around setting the brand visual and voice standard and Product where applicable)
  • Manage all resources and content including updating training materials
  • Manage LMS/CMS systems or other organizational tool/system
  • Create and manage training calendar
  • Define and track enablement metrics and KPIs
  • Demonstrate business impact of enablement activities/efforts; measuring effectiveness of programs and initiatives
  • Focus on data to gather performance insights to determine training and coaching needs
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Revenue Analytics & Insights, GTM Business Systems and Marketing/Sales/CS/Buyer/Product leaders to prioritize training and enablement needs
  • Grow and build Revenue Training & Enablement team by hiring top-tier talent

What we need:

  • 6-8 years of field or sales enablement and/or training or equivalent experience, ideally within a SaaS company 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides /Pitch 
  • Experience working with / managing CMS/LMS tools/platforms (i.e. WorkRamp)
  • Knowledge of working with project management tools (i.e. Monday.com, Asana, Confluence) 
  • Nice to have: Experience with CRM Systems (i.e. HubSpot, Salesforce), Coda, and AirTable
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders 
  • Strong technical knowledge of SaaS and GTM SaaS software and ability to translate technical concepts, features and functionality to nontechnical users 
  • Experience developing and managing new hire onboarding programs and ongoing coaching/training programs for customer facing teams
  • Strategic, analytical thinker with strong business acumen
  • Passion for solving complex problems
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results working cross-functionally 
  • Strong work ethic with a “get stuff done” mentality 
  • Problem solver, strong attention to detail, extremely organized 
  • Self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work independently
  • Flexible, agile and adaptable; used to wearing multiple-hats
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Experienced working in a fast paced environment
