Production Control Specialist
The Production Control Specialist is responsible for providing manufacturing floor support focused on material flow, planning/execution, and production/operations support. Working in the MRP/ERP (NetSuite) and MES (Tulip) systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule. Using the data to report production rates and dive the production schedule. Working with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to drive improvements in the material supply position to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and coordinate production schedule, releasing material to manufacturing floor in accordance
- Review production plan to identify risks and communicate the same to Manager
- Generate work orders and compile production data
- Ensure that department goals are met and adhere to budget
- Analyze, plan, and manage production control activities to improve runtime
- Monitor and control accurate inventory levels in NetSuite (ERP) and stock location integrity
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure flow of material in accordance with Production Plan
- Plan and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations
- Develop process improvements for production control systems to meet business objectives
- Investigate production control problems, analyze root causes, and derive solutions (MRB)
- Work with manufacturing and supply chain in identifying and resolving production planning problems
- Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:
- 5+ years experience with production control, planning/scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or project management
- Bachelors degree in supply chain, business operations, or related field
- Strong communication (verbal and written)
- Cross-functional capabilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- NetSuite (MRP)
- Tulip (MES)
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Google Suite
- Experience in Production Control or other operations experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with MRP, Shop Floor Management, Inventory Control and/or other related systems
- Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
- Demonstrated Lean Experience
- Ability to work across business areas and interface at all levels of organization
- Proven self-starter with ability to motivate and influence across functional groups
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and business communication skills
- Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success
