We are hiring a Patient Advocate in California to join our growing operations team. You will interface with our patients over the phone, email, and through live chat to provide internal coordination with our team and external coordination with partners to ensure the patient experience is delightful.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Follow all standard operating procedures and properly escalate when necessary
  • Communicate between eligible patients, clinical staff, and Cricket team 
  • Effectively educate members about the Cricket health programs and services provided
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment and engagement goals
  • Outreach to prospective patients via phone calls, mailers, chats, and mail
  • Maintains up to date database information on all outreach efforts and keep records of patient interactions
  • Train patients and clinicians on program processes and technology 
  • Identify process improvements and help the entire team create and implement new procedures
  • Participates in community outreach events and meetings to increase awareness as needed
  • Ad hoc requests required to make sure that our service grows effectively

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in health care, teaching, sales, customer service or marketing
  • Strong interpersonal skills: professional in person and phone presence, active listening, and clear writing
  • Thrives in an ambiguous start-up environment which requires flexibility, scrappiness, and teamwork
  • Compassionate, enthusiastic, positive personality

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Experience in a clinical setting and practice talking to/working with clinicians and patients
