Business Operations Associate Manager, Indigo Research Partners


Indigo Research Partners (IRP) is an innovation ecosystem enabling the rapid deployment and value capture of agricultural technologies. IRP partners with various stakeholders across the ag value chain to drive the adoption of innovative and emerging tools that improve grower profitability. As the world’s largest agriculture lab, IRP partners with over 100 leading growers to evaluate Indigo’s innovations and business models and deliver critical product feedback internally. IRP evaluates Crop Production innovations through microbial & regenerative experiments on growers’ farms, as well as Crop Marketing innovations focused on understanding a full systems approach to de-commoditize agriculture.


Responsibilities:

  • Build operational and execution-oriented plans to execute on key priorities set by the Head of IRP and IRP Board including but not limited to building and achieving sales goals, strategy development, operational execution, and building out nascent critical functions
  • Work across the organization and key executives to refine and own processes to capture feedback from IRP growers across Indigo’s core products and offers (Grower Voice & Advocacy Projects)
  • Quarterback delivering upon IRP goals by supporting the development of quarterly department goals and owning the operating budget / reports to IRP Leadership
  • Own all aspects of bi-weekly IRP Townhall meetings
  • Ensure best-in-class, flawless execution of quarterly IRP Board meetings
  • Establish rapport with key stakeholders and executives across Indigo to enable effective management of all IRP Business Operations projects
  • Embody a solution-oriented mindset. Build strong relationships across Indigo’s organization and serve as point person to addresses any questions from the broader Indigo team in a positive and professional manner

  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong PowerPoint and story building skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to a wide range of audiences
  • Agile with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment and adapt to requirements to complete projects
  • Able to manage ambiguity and work on multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Exceptional resourcefulness in getting the job done and the ability to work with little guidance
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal and external parties
  • Strong interest in Indigo’s mission and helping company to execute to achieve goals


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years’ of work experience
  • Experience working as a consulting and/or strategy/business development
  • Agriculture experience a plus, but not required

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
