Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for an Associate Director to join our Site Merchandising Team. This role would be based in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have retail and/or e-commerce experience managing product discoverability and presentation. They will be a data-driven leader, who is comfortable working and influencing cross-functionally. The business is growing quickly, so this leader will have a clear point of view, but be flexible enough to pivot as needed based on shifting landscape and business demands.

What You'll Do:

Create a “best-in-class” shopping experience for our large Consumables Vertical
Direct a team as they execute category specific site merchandising optimizations, determining the attribute structure, navigation pathways and landing experiences to best drive product discoverability and presentation
Build business cases to support product resourcing requests for high value website functionality
Utilize web analytics and data to guide ongoing improvements and optimize site merchandising tools to drive category traffic and increase conversion
Lead a team of site merchandising analysts (currently two headcount)

What You'll Need:

College degree in business-related field
10+ years work experience, with 2+ years in ecommerce
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively cross-functionally
Demonstrate a data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization
Ability to think ahead and set plans in motion for future growth needs
Position may require travel

Bonus:

MBA
Experience in e-commerce back-end operations and Google Analytics
Familiarity with SQL
