Job Summary

We’re looking for a dynamic Vice President of Operations to lead and scale our operational engine. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments. You’ll be responsible for overseeing logistics, supply chain, eCommerce operations, and ensuring the company runs efficiently while positioning us for sustainable, data-driven growth.

If you’re passionate about optimizing systems, driving measurable performance, and turning operational complexity into competitive advantage, this is your challenge.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Operations Strategy: Define and execute the company’s operational roadmap to support rapid growth and scalability across logistics, supply chain, and eCommerce functions.
  • Optimize Supply Chain: Build and refine end-to-end supply chain systems — from sourcing and vendor management to fulfillment and delivery — to improve cost, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage analytics and KPIs to identify bottlenecks, evaluate performance, and guide operational improvements across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Engineering to align operational priorities with broader business goals.
  • Implement Process Improvements: Introduce frameworks, tools, and automation that improve throughput, reduce waste, and scale efficiently.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee relationships with key suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team that thrives on accountability, transparency, and results.
  • Support Strategic Growth Initiatives: Play a central role in evaluating new market opportunities, optimizing cost structures, and supporting new product or geographic launches.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience leading operations, supply chain, or logistics in a fast-paced tech or eCommerce company.
  • Proven success scaling operational systems and processes through rapid growth stages.
  • Strong background in data analytics, with a track record of driving performance through measurable metrics.
  • Deep experience in sourcing, logistics, and supply chain optimization.
  • Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities; thrives in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
  • Nice to have: experience with digital marketplaces, consumer tech, or collectibles/eCommerce sectors.

What You’ll Get In Return

  • A dynamic and engaging environment focused on fostering real growth and innovation
  • Opportunities to create amazing products that our customers truly love and value
  • Comprehensive health insurance packages with dependent coverage
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote work environment
  • 401(k) plan with a 4% employer match to help you plan for the future
  • Access to employee wellness programs designed to support your overall well-being

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
