**This job requires 50-75% travel throughout the United States working at our locations, including overnight and multi-state travel for long periods of time (1-4 weeks). The rest of the time you will work remotely from home.
“A Day in the Life”
As an Operations Support Specialist, you'll step in where you're needed most, supporting branches, job sites, and teams across the country. No two days are the same. You'll travel to branches and job sites to support operations, train teams, solve challenges, and keep projects on track. Whether you're improving processes, supporting a busy location, or helping a team navigate change, you'll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence across the organization.
“What You’ll Do”
- Travel to branches and job sites to provide operational support during periods of growth, staffing shortages, transitions, and special projects
- Coordinate deliveries, installations, relocations, and removals of modular buildings
- Provide hands-on training and onboarding support for Operations Coordinators and branch personnel
- Serve as a subject matter expert on company systems, processes, and operational best practices
- Partner with Sales, vendors, customers, and internal teams to coordinate complex operational activities
- Review project details and schedules to ensure operational readiness and successful execution
- Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively solve problems before they impact customers
- Lead the resolution of operational escalations, customer concerns, and vendor challenges
- Standardize processes and support continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locations
- Prepare operational updates and support audits, compliance requirements, and company initiatives
- Support logistics coordination, inventory reconciliation, equipment movement, and cross-functional operational workflows
- Promote company values through leadership, coaching, and professional representation in the field
“Must Haves”
- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, construction coordination, project coordination, or a related field
- Ability to travel extensively (50-75%), including overnight and multi-state travel for long periods of time (1-4 weeks)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring team members
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Valid driver's license

- Experience with ERP or CRM systems is preferred
- Experience supporting multiple locations or regional operations is a plus
