Job Description

We’re looking for talented consultants to join our Operations & Performance Improvement team and help transform clients’ business operations across all major sectors. You will work on engagements that range from short term tactical improvements to end to end operations strategy, tackling projects that are critical to the growth and resilience of global organizations. Term tactical improvements to end-to-end.

Our clients’ challenges include defining operations strategy, designing and delivering the capabilities of tomorrow, and driving both incremental and transformational change—creating value through technology, digitalization, globalization, innovation, cost out, and revenue growth. You’ll gain meaningful exposure to complex organizations and play a direct role in how they operate and perform.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design & deliver supply chain, manufacturing and operations strategy: Support or lead components of operating model and operations strategy work, from vision and design principles to implementation.
  • Optimize performance: Map and improve end‑to‑end processes, streamline workflows, and embed operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Plan supply chain and manufacturing operations: Support demand/capacity planning, manufacturing operations planning, and service delivery models to enhance throughput and service levels.
  • Drive value realization: Develop business cases, benefits frameworks, and cost‑out levers; track and report value delivery.
  • Transform at pace: Build pragmatic transformation roadmaps, mobilize change, and ensure sustainable adoption with clients.
  • Partner across disciplines: Collaborate closely with strategy, digital, data/analytics, and agile teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Engage stakeholders: Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with client teams—facilitating workshops, framing problems, structuring analysis, and communicating insights clearly.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
