FINN Partners is looking for a hands-on, collaborative Designer to join our new business team.

As a New Business Designer you’ll help shape the work that helps us grow by conceptualizing, designing, and developing graphics, illustrations, and decks for new business presentations. You will become extremely knowledgeable of FINN brand standards, clients, and the work we do for them.  

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Stretch your creative muscles developing concepts and designs that make our pitches impossible to ignore

You will also be asked to:

  • Create polished, inventive design work ​​from layouts and mockups to full pitch decks 
  • Work within brand guidelines while finding fresh ways to push them further 
  • Work with Account and Creative teams to bring the creative strategy to life 
  • Contribute to the creative conversation, bringing curiosity, perspective, and ideas
  • Prepare, refine, and organize design assets and imagery

To be selected as a candidate you will need:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a design role
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, as well as the Microsoft Office and especially, the Google Suite (PPT & Slides)
  • Competence and experience in the field of graphic design accompanied by a professional portfolio of design work
  • A demonstrated commitment to quality, meticulous attention to detail, and consistency in work product
  • Strong layout and design abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage a project within a team environment
  • Ability to be self-motivated and organized

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A natural understanding of the difference between ‘making something look good’ and ‘making something work’
  • To be equally happy working with other designers, writers, and strategists, or motivated to work on your own
  • To be a curious self-starter who demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and a drive to see a project from initiation to final deliverable
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Strong concepting and collaboration skills
  • To be very comfortable working in ambiguity

The approved compensation range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 depending on location and commensurate with experience.
