Purpose of the National Sales Manager position

The National Sales Manager will report to the Associate Director of Sales and work closely with the Revenue Management, Reservations, and Operations teams. This individual will be laser-focused on driving revenue growth, building strategic client relationships, and scaling our national accounts program. In a fast-moving startup environment, this role requires both big-picture strategy and roll-up-your-sleeves execution. The National Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by expanding into new segment and securing high-value accounts, develop and refine the national sales strategy and playbook to ensure scalable success, and cultivate and convert group and preferred corporate opportunities for both short-term and extended stays.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales leader with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, an ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, and a track record of exceeding sales targets. About the Team

You’ll join Kasa’s broader Commercial organization and collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Distribution, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring Sales is tightly integrated with the full commercial engine. Kasa intends to disrupt traditional hospitality operations.  You will be part of a team that will define the next generation of commercial success, building a high performance team leveraging the latest in artificial intelligence and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a national sales strategy to accelerate revenue growth
  • Lead the Corporate Travel annual RFP process
  • Actively prospect, pitch, and close high-value deals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel managers, meeting planners, and other strategic partners
  • Pursue strategic national sales partnerships with large corporations to secure high-volume, business and expand our reach nationwide and sell the entire kasa enterprise
  • Develop sales processes, tools, and KPIs to scale efficiently as we grow
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and leadership to align go-to-market initiatives
  • Gather customer and market feedback to inform product development and positioning
  • Prepare sales forecasts and insights for leadership and investors
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and seize emerging opportunities in real time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required if experience is strong)
  • 8+ years of hospitality sales experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth company
  • Proven track record of building pipelines and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Have built and maintain a strong, well-established network of industry contacts to drive business growth and partnerships
  • Comfortable balancing strategy with direct selling and prospecting
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Adaptable, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on execution
  • Willingness to travel as needed to build relationships and close deals

  • The Pay: The starting base pay range for this role is between $127,000 and $150,000 and is set based on multiple considerations, including business needs, market demands, talent availability, experience, and unique skills and attributes. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified. This role may also be eligible for equity, bonus, perks, benefits, and Kasa Travel Credits.
