As the face of the brand and the indispensable consultant to their On Premise territory, they are responsible for identifying business opportunities in new On Premise playgrounds to leverage brand image and drive both current and future sales of Red Bull's product portfolio. 

Job Description

You will function as a territory manager with the overall responsibility of driving and implementing the national business plan in Enugu. As the face of the brand in the territory, you optimize sales and distribution, brand presence and awareness throughout the On-Premise channel while identifying business opportunities in new On Premise playgrounds to leverage brand image and drive both current and future sales of Red Bull's product portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

#Red Bull Ambassador
Build and maintain a strong network. Establish and nurture relationships with key influencers, industry players and business partners (including, but not limited to outlet owners/managers, bar staff, distribution partners, promoters, agencies, etc.)
Product and brand knowledge. Build affinity and understanding of the Red Bull brand and products within your network.
Be a Canbassador. Be seen as the credible, reliable and knowledgeable face of Red Bull On Premise.
Look like #1. Deliver excellence with Red Bull's premium brand image in all activities and execution.

#The Entrepreneur of the Territory
Know your territory like the back of your hand. Master the On-Premise universe by staying on the cutting edge of industry knowledge, trends and new opportunities (accounts, occasions, consumers).
Strategy in the Field. Follow the company's strategy to drive vertical and horizontal distribution. Create innovative measures and lay the foundation in areas where Red Bull will exploit its full potential in the future.
Stakeholder Management. Build and maintain long-lasting collaborations with key stakeholders in the industry. Collaborate with intern and external stakeholders to leverage business success.
Resource Management. Manage internal and external resources (Budget, POS tools, assets) to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

#Indispensable Business Consultant
Negotiate win/win partnership agreements which add value to both Red Bull's business and customer's business.
Conceptual Sell. Leverage your impressive communication, sales and marketing ability to keep Red Bull number one On Premise. Turn insights into impactful programmes to drive sales and leverage the Red Bull brand image.
Drive and expand the business by identifying the right sales and marketing occasions in which Red Bull should be present (brand, product).
Measure success by diligently tracking, analyzing and reporting on performance and areas of growth and opportunity.

#Territory Management
Grow & protect On-Premises accounts in the Area. Permanent analysis of the territory and account specific business to find opportunities and drive distribution.
Correct positioning of the Red Bull brand and the Red Bull product portfolio in the territory
Identification, care, and continuous development of local and regional On-Premises accounts by a proper Route Planning
Set volume goals with each account that includes execution against Red Bull KPIs.
Drive cooperation with the local Distributor’s Sales Force in order to reach an adequate numeric distribution.
Routinely perform Staff Education/Energizers to ensure brand understanding, perfect serve, and encourage optimum pricing.

#Increase Availability & Activation in 3rd Party Events & Festivals
Responsible for mapping and identifying new listing opportunities for Red Bull across the events landscape in the assigned territory.
Maintaining existing partnerships and growing our presences at the event through marketing activations and POS.
Development of new marketing activations to further impact the consumer and grow consumption of Red Bull
Applying Industry Marketing initiatives to strengthen relationships with decision makers and staff.
Negotiate and execute, pro-actively searching for opportunities to implement creative elements that drive Red Bull’s brand image and to offset money.

#Managing Key & Strategic Accounts
Maximization of existing customer performance via effective joint business planning
Acquisition of new customers from the relevant national universe
Negotiating win/win partnership agreements which add value to both Red Bull’s and the customer’s business.
Ensuring executional excellence on account level
Managing agreed budget forecast and spend for each account. Monitoring customer performance and margin against investment and taking corrective action where necessary.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing in FMCG with a track record of success
Strong On-Premise industry knowledge, contacts, and experience in the On-Premise.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
University Degree, preferably Business Administration

PERSONAL SKILLS
Sales and Marketing experience preferred.
Previous experience working in the hospitality, nightlife, and/or FMCG industry preferred.
Basic market knowledge and integration into the Enugu and Eastern Nigerian On-Premise industry and community are beneficial.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a high-energy, fast-paced, field-based environment.
Strategic, innovative, and commercially aware (shows an understanding of sales and finance processes).
Planning, prioritization, and organizational ability.
Strong analytical ability (analyze sales and customer data).
Street smart. Know what's going on in the streets – understand all groups of people, what every type of person has to deal with daily and know how to act around them.
Self-aware and able to adapt communication, presentation, and professional appearance according to audience and scene.
Excellent communication, active listening skills, and the ability to negotiate.
Ability to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends).
Basic working knowledge of IOS and MS Office

English & Local Language preferred
