Our Product Managers define, build and grow products that solve real problems for insurers and help drive the evolution of Shift’s technical platform. We mobilize cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale and data-driven decision making to refine, launch, and take-to-market our solutions that delight our customers.  Great products led by great product managers can make a magnitude of difference in the success and scalability of Shift and our impact on insurance.

Job Responsibilities

Shift has strong development and R&D teams building SaaS solutions using applied machine learning and big data analysis. Your role will be to provide a product vision, distilled from insights into our users and market, and work with other teams to build competitive solutions. You'll play a key role in a culture of rapid delivery and iteration based on testing, measurement and feedback.

  • Build and manage the roadmap for Shift's data driven products
  • Work with product marketing and sales teams to design and launch new features
  • Actively seek out customer feedback and use it to improve our products and plans
  • Support the go-to-market teams with information and expertise on the product
  • Provide a product vision, distilled from insights into our users and market
  • Look for opportunities to help our customers with new solutions 
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in the B2B, SaaS, and Insurance vertical space 
  • You're capable of working with a team and building consensus and can also work well independently
  • Strong road mapping skills and ability to translate new initiatives to the technical product manager
  • Experience in the P&C insurance industry required
  • This is a Hybrid role and  applicants need to be able to commute to our Boston office a minimum of once a week.

The range listed is for base compensation.  Your actual base salary will vary based on factors including location and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. 

In addition to base salary, your total rewards package will include additional components such as incentive pay, equity, and benefits.  If you're interviewing for this role, speak with your Talent Acquisition Partner to learn more about the specific details for this position.

US Base Salary Pay Range
$165,000$200,000 USD
