At Re:Build, our mission is to ensure the next generation of important products are made, at scale, in America. We are laying the foundation for a better future for our customers, employees, and communities by revitalizing America's manufacturing base and creating meaningful jobs across the country, including in historically deindustrialized regions.

We operate an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators to take products from first concept to full-scale production in critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation.

The way we operate is as important as the work we do. It's guided by The Re:Build Way, 16 principles that shape how we collaborate with each other, partner with our customers and vendors, and contribute to the communities where we operate. The Re:Build Way principles

The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft 365 Integration Lead to own an important technology transformation at Re:Build Fikst: leading our migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 GCCH and helping build the collaboration, identity, security, and end-user environment that will support our team going forward.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves both the technical and human sides of IT. You will work hand in hand with our current IT Lead, who brings deep knowledge of our Google environment and day-to-day business needs. You will bring Microsoft 365 migration expertise, create the plan, support execution, solve difficult problems, and help our employees transition smoothly.

What You'll Get to Do

  • Lead the end-to-end migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, from discovery and planning through pilot, cutover, stabilization, and post-migration support.
  • Assess the current Google Workspace environment, users, groups, data, permissions, integrations, workflows, and dependencies; identify migration risks and develop a practical roadmap.
  • Design and configure the target Microsoft 365 environment across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Office, Defender, and related services.
  • Plan and execute migration of email, calendars, contacts, Google Drive content, shared data, users, groups, permissions, and collaboration workflows as appropriate.
  • Develop identity, access, device, security, retention, sharing, and governance approaches that are scalable, supportable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Create and run pilot migrations, validate data and permissions, troubleshoot issues, manage cutover activities, and minimize disruption to employees.
  • Partner closely with the IT Lead, business stakeholders, vendors, and Microsoft resources to make sound technical decisions and keep the project moving.
  • Own the migration project plan, milestones, risks, dependencies, testing, status communication, and technical documentation.
  • Create clear end-user communications, training, and adoption support so employees understand not only how to use the new tools, but how to work effectively in the new environment.
  • Transfer knowledge to the internal IT team and leave behind a clean, well-documented, maintainable Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Support broader IT projects and service needs as priorities evolve, particularly if the role converts to a long-term position.
What You Bring to the Team
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years designing, building, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading one or more Microsoft 365 migrations; direct Google Workspace-to-Microsoft 365 migration experience is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on Microsoft 365 administration experience across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Office, and Defender.
  • Experience with migration assessment, identity and permission mapping, coexistence/cutover planning, pilot migrations, data validation, troubleshooting, and post-migration stabilization.
  • Strong understanding of identity and core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, Microsoft Server, and hybrid/cloud environments.
  • Experience with endpoint deployment and management, including Windows PCs, iPads, conference rooms, Intune, Apple Business Manager, Autopilot, and Company Portal.
  • Ability to evaluate and work with migration tooling, automation, scripting, and reporting.
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to translate a complex technical migration into a clear plan, communicate progress and risks, and drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills. You can work comfortably with technical experts, business leaders, vendors, and coworkers and explain complex issues in practical language.
  • A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset. You enjoy solving problems, testing solutions, documenting what you learn, and leaving systems better than you found them.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Microsoft Migration Manager, AvePoint Fly, or third-party migration tools.
  • Experience supporting engineering environments, CAD systems, laboratories, manufacturing, or product development organizations.
  • Cloud platform experience across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
  • Cybersecurity and compliance experience, particularly CMMC, GCC High, FedRAMP, or regulated environments.
  • Microsoft 365, Azure, or related Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience using AI and automation tools to improve IT operations, documentation, support, or engineers' productivity.
What Success Looks Like
  • A well-planned migration with clear ownership, milestones, risks, and communication.
  • Users, data, permissions, and collaboration workflows transition accurately with minimal business disruption.
  • Employees feel supported and confident working in Microsoft 365.
  • The internal IT team has the documentation, knowledge, and tools needed to confidently support the environment after migration.
  • The Microsoft 365 GCCH environment is secure, scalable, maintainable, and ready to support Re:Build Fikst's continued growth.
