Position Overview
The Data Platforms Health team builds solutions that enable healthcare-specific platform capabilities for on-premises and cloud offerings. This development role in the Database Platforms department will contribute to the InterSystems IRIS for Health, InterSystems FHIR server, InterSystems Health Connect, and FHIR as a Service products.
The team needs full-stack developers who can collaborate with a small team of developers to build and maintain a suite of Angular applications and public APIs for FHIR servers, interoperability, and healthcare data fabric. These applications and services are targeted towards developers, system administrators, and users of healthcare systems and enable InterSystems to transform how data is managed in the healthcare industry.

This position is in the InterSystems headquarters in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities
A developer in this role is expected to:
- Learn about FHIR technologies
- Implement technical solutions with a view towards long-term reliability and scalability
- Follow architectural and design best practices for UX and back ends
- Follow development best practices like design and code reviews, automated tests
- Collaborate with a small team of developers and UX designers
The technology stack includes Angular, TypeScript, ObjectScript and InterSystems IRIS.
Position Requirements
- Working towards a degree in a technical field like computer engineering or computer science
- Experience with Angular or other web frameworks
- Experience with python, Java or a similar programming language
- Experience developing secure REST APIs
- Motivated to learn and adopt new tools and technologies, especially in the cloud
- Self-driven and confident in their skills
