Schedule: Full time, 38.75 hours/weekly, Monday through Friday between 7:30AM to 5:00PM
Position in this function performs a variety of duties involving clinical and administrative patient care while adhering to the standards of the practice. Assists in the examination and treatment of patients by taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressures, temperatures, height, weight, etc. Prepares treatment rooms. Performs a variety of clerical functions to support office functions. Performs related duties to facilitate the efficient utilization of computer-based information.

- Assist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing

Required Qualification:
- Technical certification or 1+ years of experience performing the critical skills of a Medical Assistant after on-the-job training OR current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assistant program OR EMT certification
- Experience working as a Medical Assistant or EMT
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA and CMAC)
- Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) or completed within 90 days of date of hire
- Experience with electronic medical records software (EPIC)
- Experience performing medical back-office tasks including obtaining vital signs, injections/immunizations, phlebotomy, urinalysis and administering medications
