As a Marketplace Manager, oversee marketplace operations, optimize supply and demand, manage data analytics, and enhance notary experiences.
We’re looking for a Marketplace Manager to join our team. You will be at the
epicenter of our operations, ensuring a high-quality experience for notaries
providing notarization services on Proof. You will be a hands-on leader,
responsible for the day-to-day management of our marketplace, from onboarding
to optimizing for supply and demand. This is a great opportunity for a creative

What you’ll do as a Marketplace Manager at Proof:
- Marketplace Health: Own the key metrics of marketplace health, including but not limited to wait times, success rates, cancellation rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Supply Management: Develop and execute strategies to manage the supply of On Demand Notaries. This includes forecasting supply needs, building and scaling a successful onboarding and training program, and implementing incentive and engagement programs.
- Demand Forecasting: Partner with Product and Go-to-Market teams to
- forecast demand and anticipate new customer needs and product launches.
- Notary Community: Serve as a thought leader for all notary-facing communications, ensuring that messages are aligned with product updates, company objectives, and opportunities for growth.
- Operational Excellence: Use data to identify bottlenecks and process inefficiencies within the marketplace and work with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions.
- Incident Management: Serve as a key stakeholder in incident response, providing real-time data and insights to support teams during outages or platform issues.
- Product Advocacy: Act as a liaison between the notary community and the Product team, advocating for features and enhancements that improve the notary user experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 2+ Years experience in an operational role, with a strong focus on marketplace dynamics. Experience at a gig-economy, logistics, or platform company is a plus.
- Data-Driven: Proven ability to use data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, ADX, Zendesk) to make strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
- Problem-Solver: A creative and analytical thinker who can diagnose complex marketplace problems and design scalable solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both internal stakeholders and a decentralized workforce.
- Empathy: A deep understanding of the needs and motivations of Gig Workers and a passion for creating a positive and empowering experience for them.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on execution and delivery.
