Lead the Service Provider Success team to build and evolve the Marketplace platform. Mentor and grow engineers while driving technical strategy and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
The summary above was generated by AI

At Webflow, our mission is to bring development superpowers to everyone. As the pioneer of the Website Experience Platform (WXP), we’re redefining how teams Build, Manage, and Optimize for the web — combining visual development, powerful content management systems, AI-driven personalization, seamless hosting, and end-to-end analytics in a single, unified platform. With AI at the core, Webflow helps teams move faster, create more performant digital experiences, and scale without heavy engineering support. From independent designers and creative agencies to global enterprises, hundreds of thousands of organizations use Webflow to turn ideas into reality — and to power what’s possible on the web.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Service Provider Success team. You’ll lead an exceptional group of engineers focused on building products that empower our partners and creators to thrive on the platform. This is a player and coach role where you’ll balance hands-on contributions with strong technical leadership, getting into the details when needed to help ship projects while guiding, mentoring, and growing the engineers on your team. The team is focused on expanding the Marketplace platform and exploring how AI can help customers find solutions, unlock new opportunities, and solve their pain points at the right time. You’ll play a key role in shaping these initiatives and driving outcomes that directly impact business growth and community success.

This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

  • Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager, Partner Success & Marketplace, you’ll …

  • Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team that builds and evolves the foundations of the Webflow Marketplace and core partner experiences.
  • Drive the technical strategy and roadmap for expanding the Marketplace platform and helping partners succeed through the Partner Program and related workflows, while finding new ways to leverage AI across these areas to solve clear customer pain points and create meaningful impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Design, and other engineering teams to set goals, align on priorities, and define the engineering strategy for the team.
  • Lead by example through hands-on technical involvement by actively contributing to codebases, leading system design and architecture reviews, and partnering with engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop engineers through regular feedback and growth conversations while holding them accountable for delivering on their goals.
  • Champion engineering excellence by upholding best practices around quality, accessibility, performance, and maintainability across the stack.
  • Help shape organizational processes and work with other Engineering Managers to continually evaluate how we can better support our reports and each other.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role.

About you:

  • You are proficient with modern web technologies such as TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js, and have experience building and scaling cloud-based applications using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • You build strong relationships with cross-functional peers such as Product, Design, and Marketing to set goals and define business strategy that drives measurable customer and partner success.
  • You build a strong engineering culture focused on craftsmanship, ownership, and learning, mentoring engineers through design reviews, incident retrospectives, and technical deep dives.
  • You coach mid-level engineers to grow into senior roles and create an environment where senior engineers can continue scaling toward staff-level impact.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
