VP of Marketing
Reporting to the CMO, this role drives development and deployment of the marketing plans for Vestmark and Adhesion Wealth, as well as execution of the plan in the marketplace.
Interfaces include product marketing, sales, product management, relationship management, CTO, CFO and CEO. This role requires broad knowledge of the marketplace, marketing strategy and tactics, and Vestmark’s competitive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing and design staff
- Co-development and management of annual marketing plan and budget with CMO and product marketing team
- Manage goals set by CMO in terms of qualified lead generation, initial sales meetings, etc.
- Manage tactical execution of all elements of marketing plan:
- Email and direct mail campaigns
- Database marketing and list management (Discovery, AccuPoint, other outside lists) by sales channel
- Creative delivery of campaign and brand messages
- Interact with EVP of Sales to coordinate campaign delivery and education of sales staff on campaign messaging
- Webinars and in-person events
- Conference and trade show presence
- Booth management, maintenance, delivery
- Booth creative and messaging
- Will also assist CFO and CMO with investor pitch book as needed
- Account-based marketing structure and activities
- Event planning
- Manage advertising, ad placement, vendor management, integration of advertising with campaign management
- Manage and maintain collateral and collateral architecture, print and electronic
- Manage and maintain pitch book library
- Web Site management and development
- External/internal brand management: including advertising and branded events and communications
- Manage outside PR firm and coordinate PR deliverables
- Manage all aspects of social media presence and deliverables
- Internal brand/communication initiatives
- Recruiting/advertising efforts
- Annual Best Places to Work a campaign
- Internal brand management (signage, swag, etc.)
- Oversee internal Vestmark swag
- HR/recruiting project work
- Manage monthly and annual internal meetings (vBash)
- Other initiatives as directed by the CMO

- Broad knowledge of and experience in the Wealth Management Marketplace
- Demonstrated success in coaching and developing a marketing team
- Team player that can easily interface with all levels of the organization
- Working knowledge of marketing automation software such as Pardot, Salesforce and other marketing technologies preferred
- Strong verbal communications/writing/editing/presentation skills
- Strong influence skills
Preferred:
- MBA
- 10+ years’ experience in marketing management roles
- 10+ years managing a marketing team
