Our software is used by retailers, manufacturing companies, third party logistics providers, and ISVs to:

• Provide real time operational visibility and traceability
• Streamline end-to-end processes that cross systems and partners
• Enable a range of critical business initiatives that require incorporating data-driven analytics into connected processes, including demand forecasting, price optimization, inventory optimization, and staffing.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial global evangelist and market strategist consultant to guide our growing supply chain vertical business. Your experience with real world supply chain processes, challenges, and initiatives will inform and guide InterSystems’ product, sales and market strategy.

Responsibilities

As the internal subject matter expert on supply chain, the successful candidate will:

• Develop and oversee the execution of corporate-wide positioning and product marketing plans for the supply chain vertical
• Guide the product, marketing and sales teams on messaging, go-to-market strategy and tactics, partnerships, functional requirements, and other initiatives related to the supply chain vertical
• Advance brand awareness and credibility to target audiences through speaking, writing, participation in marketing events, and via other channels that present the company externally
• Drive business growth by training and motivating regional sales teams and partners
• Assist regional teams with specific sales opportunities

Qualifications

• 20+ years of supply chain experience within the technology, retail, or manufacturing industry, either as a consultant, or within one or more firms.
• Deep understanding of relevant business initiatives and challenges within supply chain, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, control towers, pricing, data silos, streamlining end-to-end processes, etc.
• Proven experience effectively communicating with line of business supply chain executives, with the ability to drill into detail as needed
• Current industry contacts that include supply chain management and executive management
• Experience with data management technologies is a plus but not a requirement
• Excellent presentation skills
• Some international experience is desired
• Ability to work well with remote teams and lead through influence

Education and Training

Bachelor’s degree in business or other related area required

MBA or master’s in supply chain management desirable
