Sr Marketing Technology Specialist
Job Description:
The Opportunity:
The Sr Marketing and Event Technology Specialist is responsible for the day to day maintenance and evaluation of all Marketing-related technology. This technology includes, but is not limited to, new/existing vendor relationships, platform management, maintenance of the stack overview (via Ardoq), and the implementation of Marketing technology as a part of our technical vision.
This person is also responsible for supporting internal and external event technology as it relates to Workhuman Live, Trade Shows, Ignite, and other strategic events.
Job Responsibilities:
- Train and support marketing staff on using marketing technology products.
- Research and recommend new marketing technology products.
- Operate marketing technology products as an administrator.
- Design and manage internal workflows and processes.
- Integrate marketing technology products with each other.
- Monitor data quality within marketing technology products.
- Design, run and optimize/test marketing campaigns.
- Architect the overall marketing stack of all marketing technology products used.
- Ownership of technology stack outside of IT
- Maintain the Workhuman marketing technology landscape and the tools, integrations, and policies to best assist in the implementation, evaluation, and optimization of all Marketing and Event technology.
- Maintenance of the Marketing Tech overview (Ardoq)
- Assist in the evaluation of all marketing tech for fit, ROI, usage, and compliance with Workhuman policies.
- Own the entire process of evaluation to recommend to implementation of all new/changing tech in alignment with the Marketing Technology Procurement procedures and all IT/InfoSec/Architecture/Legal partner requirements.
- Lead contract/subscription renewal scheduling for all Marketing Technology and partner with procurement to negotiate renewal rates.
- Advanced knowledge of all platforms related to events and advancements thereto (PC, iOS, Mac, Spark, WHC, WHCT, Audio, Video, Zoom, etc)
- Support in the technical aspects of all Virtual Events/Broadcasts.
- Act as Event Producer for all customer-facing Webinars.
- Acquire proficiency or certification in any new Marketing/Event related platform as deemed necessary (i.e. registration, streaming, networking, mobile app, etc).
Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years in an IT-related role
- 2+ years of event related experience.
- Deep knowledge of Enterprise-level technology including networking, SSO, application integration, and proficiency in O365.
- Understand and contribute to the Marketing/Event/Program goals, metrics, and vision.
- Partner with IT, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure one consistent vision
- Communicate effectively with peers, vendors, contractors, and Marketing leadership.
- Maintain platform proficiency for all relevant applications.
- Act in a producer role for all virtual/broadcast events.
- Attend and provide IT program support for corporate events, including but not limited to:
- Sales Bootcamp
- Company Kick-Offs
- U.S. HR Conferences
- Tradeshows
- International HR Conferences
- Support back-end technology for Workhuman Live(WHL) event, ensuring systems are fully integrated and operational.
