Marketing is one of the largest teams at SharkNinja. The team includes Digital, Brand, D2C, Media, PR and Creative. Each team focusing on how we give our consumers the ultimate product experience. Marketing is for the person that is not afraid to dive deep and show a genuine interest into the world of Consumer Goods. Marketing at SharkNinja is for the person who is never satisfied with creating anything less than the best product on the market. 

Joining the Content Strategy team, this individual is responsible for supporting and executing strategies for organic social media and community.

The Social Media Specialist will play an important role in the day-to-day management of our social media channels. We need someone who can hit the ground running, take responsibility, and very quickly understand the brands you work on and begin contributing. This person must have experience in driving social content and engagement to create brand loyalty across social platforms. Experience working directly with social platforms and social management tools is a must.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day social media operations including content planning, creative execution, social listening and reporting
• Identify and keep pulse on social media trends that can help deliver against strategic goals and share with the team
• Make recommendations based on monthly and yearly compiled social data
• Research and monitor other brands for campaign and content inspiration; develop cadence of sharing ideas from other brands
• Support in managing the Official Ninja Foodi Family Facebook Community. Work closely with customer experience, consumer insights and culinary teams to glean important product and culinary insights; use data to iterate content strategies
• Own curating Instagram Story and Pinterest content across Shark and Ninja
• Own content upload process for our YouTube channels, working closely with brand and eCommerce teams to incorporate SEO language
• Identify key brand advocates and make recommendations for including in influencer and affiliate programs
• Own brief-in process for creative requests
• Assist in growing and expanding Shark|Ninja social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increase presence on existing platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
• Own content scheduling across Shark and Ninja using our scheduling tool, Sprinklr

Requirements

• Have a strong understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to: Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok + YouTube
• Experience running brand social media channels, creating editorial calendars, sourcing channel content, compiling reports and using a scheduling platform
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong understanding of the media landscape; understanding of larger marketing mix and how social media and influencer marketing fit in
• Excellent writing skills, ability to write and edit communications materials for a wide range of audiences
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and manage multiple obligations
• Solid foundational understanding of social media
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team, as well as being a self-starter, owning a task from start to finish
• Experience working with Facebook Groups is a plus
• 1+ years of experience working in Social Media/PR/Communications/Marketing
• 1-3 years prior social media experience at a brand, a digital agency, online publication, or in the marketing-related field
