Our Opportunity:

Chewy is growing, we seek to add an SEO Link Builder Specialist focused on link building and acquiring new customers. This position will work within our digital marketing team, a group passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences that drive new customers and revenue. As an SEO link builder specialist, you will be in charge of the company’s internal and external linking strategy. You will develop link building strategies to increase the company's rankings and visibility in search engines through marketing and promotions, outreach, PR, and social media sites.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct outreach and link building efforts to acquire high domain authority links
• Review site architecture for multiple websites to optimize crawl paths, add internal links, and improve thin content
• Collaborate with program and channel managers to develop and drive an ethical/white-hat SEO strategy complete with necessary content and site architecture internal linking guidelines
• Work directly with content strategists, PR and social media manager to assist in link acquisition for all SEO projects and execution of all link building tasks. These include, but are not limited to;

- Monthly link building

- Social Bookmarking

- Monthly reporting

- Video, Article and Press Release acquisition

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years’ experience working in link building
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing, business or any quantitative or analytical related fields
• Proven success in link building and link acquisition
• Knowledge and genuine interest in best practices of SEO and the internet, especially as they relate to link building
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working in text-based CMS/HTML editors.
• Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment and must work collaboratively with others
• Expert level attention to detail is essential
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Brightedge, Omniture, SEMRush)
• E-commerce background is a plus
• Position may require travel
