Senior Manager, Digital Demand
This position requires a self-directed, results-driven individual eager to drive profitable growth of our digital paid media channels. The ideal candidate is motivated to grow the efficiency and performance of our direct-to-consumer channel and isn’t afraid to challenge the norm to drive more efficient customer acquisition. Responsible for aligning our digital media strategy to business growth, this leader must thrive in a fast-paced and highly collaborative cross-functional environment, be highly performance driven, exhibit strong analytical skills, and be action oriented. Your ability to manage, mentor and grow our digital demand team by setting clear direction and developing individual team members to deliver impactful results will be critical to success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and mentor a metrics/KPI and performance driven customer acquisition team –invested in building each individual and their contributions to the growth of the DTC business.
- Develop our digital demand growth strategy, setting the direction for the internal team and managing our external agencies, owning the expectation / goal setting for campaigns and holding partners accountable to our standards of performance.
- Own and be accountable to the performance of our display, paid social, search, PLA, affiliate, retargeting, and new demand channel performance goals
- Serve as an advocate for the DTC channel and an agent of change to challenge the business, team, and established norms to better align digital media to new DTC growth goals and drive more efficient campaigns.
- Forecast, measure, analyze and report on digital demand campaigns for DTC, while understanding strategic mediums required to drive total business (inclusive of retail).
- Driven to make media spend as efficient as possible by continuous evaluation of the ROI of media campaigns via keen understanding of the details and ability to analyze against big picture goals
- Provide direction to the digital team on how to gain further efficiency of media dollars via optimizations of targeting, creative, budget allocation between channels, and digital experience to maximize ROI.
- Serve as a cross-functional leader, collaborating with key stakeholders to build integrated strategies and leveraging partnerships to identify new growth opportunities for the channel
- Possess an analytic mindset, driven by critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Able to organize and analyze data to find insightful ways to help improve campaign efficiencies and identify new channel opportunities to capitalize on new opportunities for revenue.
- Develop and maintain executive reporting data for media campaigns, new product launches, campaign efficiencies to drive visibility and transparency of performance of digital demand
- Strong communicator, with ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to all levels in the organization
Requirements
- 5 years of digital media experience including paid search, paid social, display, retargeting affiliate etc., either at a brand or an agency focusing on B2C demand generation.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience managing and developing a high performing team.
- Highly analytical mindset, with a POV and outlook on all things digital from an ecommerce standpoint
- Results driven, with a proven ability to grow and scale a DTC business and deliver increased efficiency of media campaigns
- Extensive experience with direct marketing and marketing automation including A/B testing, customer segmentation and analytics as well as strong proficiency with technology tools that support such marketing efforts
- Passionate, positive “can-do” and action-oriented attitude
- Strong project/program management skills allowing for goals to be met in a timely and documented fashion.
