S/he will focus on building relationships with individuals already active in those communities, whether they’re bloggers; reporters; consultants; merchants; event organizers, or subject matter experts.
The purpose of this role is to amplify Klaviyo’s message of making precisely targeted and highly effective email marketing and advertising available to all ecommerce businesses, by eliminating the need for any brand to choose between ease of use and powerful features. Key responsibilities include:
Representing Klaviyo across social channels. Engage with members of the marketing and ecommerce communities across social channels; start and participate in key conversations. Launch and manage a FB group. Ensure we have the right tools and systems in place to support and manage this at scale.

Contributing content to the Klaviyo blog. As an important public face of Klaviyo, you’ll be expected to build your expertise in the ecommerce marketing space -- and then showcase that expertise with contributions to our blog.

About You You view marketing as a two-way conversation between companies and the people who might or do buy from them. You can wax poetic about how so many marketers muck that up by not giving enough consideration to the people at the other end of their messages. A background in email marketing is helpful, but only if you consider “blast” a four-letter word. You’re excellent at building relationships with your fellow humans; it’s not uncommon for you to hear “I can’t believe you remember that!” when getting back in touch with someone. You understand how to build those relationships at scale through social media. You’re an exceptional written and oral communicator. And most of all, you’re passionate about helping online companies grow faster -- and specifically, passionate about fueling that growth by teaching them how to use data to build stronger relationships with their customers. About Us Klaviyo is a team of people who are crazy motivated by growth. It’s what we help our customers do: grow their businesses by making it possible and easy for them to use their data to power better marketing. It’s how we behave as individuals: we’re all deeply passionate about learning. It’s how we manage our business: we have thousands of paying customers, we’re profitable, and we’re growing insanely fast. And it’s what our culture is all about. Working at Klaviyo means you’ll work on things you never imagined you would; you’ll grow in ways you didn’t consider possible; and you’ll do the best work of your career with people who are just as motivated and talented as you are. If this sounds like your type of place to work, drop us a note!
