Who you are
You are a dynamic Product Marketing Manager with 3+ years of experience launching B2B products to market. You’re a strategic thinker who has the ability to work cross-functionally to collaborate with partners across the business. Passionate and driven, you are motivated to learn the ins and outs of not only our service, but the industry in which we operate. You recognize who our target audience is and have a working knowledge of how to appeal to what they want. A wearer of many hats, you thrive in fast paced environments where you’ll have a direct impact on our company goals. We’d be super impressed if you have experience within a financial vertical.
What You’ll Do
In this role you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. As the first Product Marketing hire at Stavvy, you’ll be tasked with helping us to define our product marketing approach, while working to figure out how our product fits within certain industries. You'll also have the opportunity to work with the Product, Engineering, and Sales teams, while flexing into servicing partnerships as they arise. You will also develop messaging foundation frameworks, including the value proposition, product positioning and messaging, as well as creating content. As we launch products, you’ll also have the opportunity to not only help build out our launch strategy, but partner with press and our PR firm.
In this role you will:
- Identify and understand different types of customers, their needs, and how our products will uniquely meet them
- Curate and develop messaging content, presentations, case studies, demo videos which will establish our brand presence
- Work with the go-to-market teams to craft battle cards, email templates and blog articles which engage and convert prospective customers through differentiation
- Become an expert on not only our product and the industry it lives in, but how our product is different from our competitors
Our office is also currently located in Newton, MA with an anticipated move date to Boston this coming September. We currently have limited capacity in-office due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We are currently accepting candidates who live near or are looking to move within the commutable vicinity of Boston, MA. This job will start remote but be expected to be in office when the new location opens to foster collaboration with team members and fellow Stavviators.
