Partner Marketing Manager
We’re looking for a driven, self-motivated individual to take our Agency Partner Program to the next level. Our Agency Partner Program is a proven channel for us and is growing quickly. We need an individual who can help fuel that growth with effective marketing campaigns to acquire new partners; inform them of our value proposition; and encourage them to submit leads. You’ll also get a chance to coordinate and manage co-marketing initiatives with top tier partners, both online and offline.
Part demand gen, part product marketing, part ops, and part events, this role will give you exposure into both sales and marketing. You’ll have to wear many hats, but your ability to make an impact in all these areas will be great.
Your core areas of responsibility include:
Increase leads coming from partners. Getting good agency partners in the door is only part of the equation. You’ll be tasked with increasing the number of (qualified) leads that come from the agency partners by making sure the value we offer their clients stays top of mind with partners. This includes repurposing - and occasionally creating - educational materials around new releases, key features, case studies, tutorials, and more; then organizing campaigns to effectively distribute those materials.
Create strong co-marketing programs. Engage in co-marketing opportunities with our top-tier partners. From joint events, to webinars to case-studies, invest in our partners to help them drive more Klaviyo business.
Accelerate partner onboarding. A key to accelerating growth will be understanding how to get new partners up to speed on Klaviyo as quickly as possible. You’ll be asked to provide marketing support for the onboarding process and reduce the time it takes for new partners to close their first and second deals.
Finding new qualified agencies. You’ll be responsible for coming up with a strategy to increase the number of qualified agencies in our program. That includes segmenting our target partners and developing messaging strategies to optimize acquisition for each target segment.

Getting Started - Key Outcomes
In the first 30 days, you’ll have:
- Gotten up to speed on our product, target customers, and value proposition
- Familiarized yourself with the partner program structure and team operations
- Spoken on the phone with 5-10 partners to understand their businesses and their perspective of Klaviyo
- Taken over curating and sending a regular newsletter to partners
- Analyzed current partners and identified what makes a “good” or top-tier partner
Within 90 days, you’ll have:
- Delivered three pieces of partner-specific sales collateral
- Run one co-hosted meetup with a partner
- Organized and promoted one agency-focused webinar
- Reviewed and segmented the entire partner universe
Before you hit your first year anniversary, you’ll:
- Developed a library of marketing materials to help our partners sell Klaviyo on our behalf.
- Hit a monthly cadence of running campaigns to encourage partners to submit leads
- Executed 4 co-marketing initiatives
- Accelerated the growth of new partners in target segments
- Doubled the number of partners that have submitted at least one quality lead
- Added 10pts to the percentage of partners that have submitted multiple leads
About You You’re a savvy marketer who excels in segment-based marketing. You may have held roles in demand gen or product marketing at one point. You’re passionate about experimenting, and have a bias towards action. You understand the value of partners and love working with them to help drive results, both for your organization but also for their businesses. You’re smart, professional, accountable and creative. You’re the type of person who proactively stays “in the know” on what’s going at your company; can work comfortably cross-functionally; and are not afraid to speak up or make recommendations. And you absolutely love to be a part of building something new in a fast paced high growth environment.
