About the Job

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist focused on contractor engagement to join our team. As a video accessibility company, our remote contractor workforce has transcribed, captioned, or audio described literally millions of videos. This presents an interesting marketing opportunity to rethink engagement within a community of gig economy workers. This role will be tasked with building out and executing contractor engagement programs, as well as broader email, incentive, and storytelling initiatives to keep our contractors engaged and active - just like our customers. The ideal candidate will dive in with the rest of the team, make strategic recommendations, proactively identify areas for improvement, and be results-driven. They will lead the charge on all marketing efforts focused on contractor adoption, growth, and engagement. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Map out contractor lifecycle journeys
  • Develop, evaluate, and revamp automated engagement campaigns
  • Partner closely with marketing, product, hr, data science, and operations teams to delight and motivate our contractors
  • Develop triggered communication based on activity & churn metrics
  • Monitor and advocate for program refinements if needed to improve the contractor experience
  • Listen and learn from our contractors
  • Strategize and execute email campaigns, engagement, webinars, and incentive programming to help onboard, educate, grow, and retain our dynamic contractor base
  • Consistently survey and report on contractor goals, performance, happiness, and engagement
  • Create content and campaigns that drive adoption, growth, retention, and advocacy/referrals
  • Report on progress across contractor marketing initiatives & identify new segments and areas for engagement

Position Requirements

  • A “full stack” marketer with experience in a broad range of digital marketing strategies
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with marketing automation
  • Experience with email marketing and/or customer marketing
  • A creative and empathetic thinker; you always think customer first
  • Experience with surveying, A/B testing, and analysis
  • Can point to successful marketing programs you’ve run
  • Experience with HubSpot
