Event Marketing Manager
We are looking for the 2nd member of our events team to support HYPERGROWTH, Drift's annual event series, that brings together entrepreneurs and business leaders who have built brands, sparked movements, and found ways to unlock unprecedented growth. Drift hosted two in 2018, one in Boston and one in San Francisco. We've got big plans for HYPERGROWTH in 2019, so if that excites you, then come join our team.
What you’ll be doing on the Events team at Drift:
- Plan and execute promotional strategies that exceed registration and attendance goals for HYPERGROWTH 2019
- Manage workflows, production schedule, conversion testing, and tracking of various marketing campaigns
- Identify trends and insights
- Own registration and revenue goals for HYPERGROWTH 2019 with minimal support
- Manage the full attendee experience starting at pre-purchase, purchase and post-purchase of tickets leading up to event
- Execute timely outreach and follow-up post event
- Managed email communication with past, future and registered attendees
- Report on program progress against defined metrics
- Responsible for creating content, that drives ticket sales, through a wide variety of platforms, including web, email, and social media
About you and what type of skills you’ll need:
- Minimum of 1-2 years in event marketing or related role
- Experience interpreting consumer data and making business recommendations to drive event performance
- Familiarity working with marketing software
- You are very detail oriented and are very organized
- Have complete ownership and accountability over their role and functional area
- You're always thinking one step ahead
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service
- You take initiative to get stuff done
- Able to support fast-paced event activity in a startup environment
