Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Display Advertising Manager to support our digital marketing efforts. This role’s primary focus is to create scalable display programs that leverage marketing technologies such as demand-side platforms, advanced behavioral targeting and dynamic creative generation. The role also includes campaign set-up, day-to-day management, and tracking of campaign/channel performance.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role sits within our high-performing, metrics-driven customer acquisition team that works collaboratively on strategies to drive channel growth. We are looking for someone who is equally passionate about marketing technology, data analysis and direct marketing to expand our display advertising efforts.

What You’ll do:

  • Build successful display advertising acquisition campaigns from the ground up, including the configuration of audiences by leveraging website behavior and CRM data
  • Analyze campaign performance, identify trends and suggest opportunities for improvement as well as provide daily performance checks
  • Optimize campaigns and adjust bids based on direct response measurement for new customer acquisition
  • Structure A/B tests around creatives, audiences and bid strategies
  • Work with Engineering team to troubleshoot any technical bugs or issues with campaigns, as needed
  • Juggle multiple projects and prioritize time while working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and growing organization
  • Experience in fraud management and identification activities
  • Manage product/data feeds associated with paid media, ensuring their accuracy

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Display Marketing
  • Hands-on analytical background and proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, economics, mathematics, finance or related field
  • Strong proficiency in media optimization, including attribution, retargeting, and testing
  • Experience with display platforms including ad servers, exchanges, RTB bidders, DSPs, DMPs
  • Client-side experience, managing large-scale display advertising campaigns
  • Strong understanding of bidding algorithms
  • Candidate must be able to effectively adapt to real-time data and information
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and comfortable with data/analytics with interest in learning more (e.g., Excel, SQL, etc.)
  • Position may require travel

Bonus:

  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with multi-channel attribution
