Director, Digital Video Advertising

Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, and analytical hands-on marketing leader to join our exciting and fast-paced company. Our team is growing and if you are equally passionate about, digital marketing, e-commerce, and building a business from scratch, this opportunity at Chewy may be a great match! As Director of Digital Video Advertising, it is your mission to create an entirely new scalable marketing channel for Chewy that is coordinated closely with Chewy’s other digital marketing channels, as well as our TV advertising channel. Creative, media buying, and measurement are the key pillars of our video advertising strategy and we are seeking for the right leader to build these out for digital video advertising specifically, in order to reach and delight the maximum amount of new customers for Chewy and help us realize our objective to become the biggest pet retailer in the world. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience with advanced measurement methodologies of digital marketing, have a track record of delivering innovations that scale, and relish building a new business from conceptualization through execution in an ambiguous and fast-moving environment.
What you’ll do:
- Create, execute, and rapidly iterate on a video advertising experimentation framework and foster a culture that is focused on experimentation with the objective of scale.
- Develop enhanced measurement capabilities that attribute the downstream performance of video advertising campaigns within Chewy’s marketing mix.
- Define requirements for video content, customized and/or newly created for video advertising campaigns.
- Develop a video creative strategy that scales across customer segments.
- Build a team of digital video advertising professionals.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5+ of experience in digital marketing with increasing responsibility and impact, of which 2+ years of experience in digital video advertising (Youtube, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram,)
- Extensive knowledge of downstream video advertising measurement and optimization.
- Extensive experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
- A thorough understanding of the intersection between creative and analysis.
- Position may require travel
