Digital Marketing Manager
Vestmark is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven digital marketing professional to support our strategic efforts to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, qualified lead generation, and sales. In this role, you will help establish a growth-oriented digital operation and use your passion for social media, SEO, digital advertising, marketing automation, and analytics to drive great results from our marketing campaigns and programs. And finally, you will join a collaborative team of highly motivated marketing professionals, eager to take us to a new level of brand awareness and growth.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of marketing experience with strong knowledge of social media and SEO tools and tactics, and marketing automation platforms (preferably Marketo).
Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, deployment, management, and reporting of digital campaigns and programs. They will be a key player in the marketing team by driving the strategy and execution of all digital marketing activities including SEO/SEM and paid search and social. Working with the team, you’ll build an integrated digital campaign strategy that gets results and leverages our marketing automation platform (Marketo), website, CRM (Salesforce), and other tools.
- Recommends overall digital marketing strategy by studying industry dynamics, identifying potential customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
- Acts as an internal expert on SEO/SEM, web, email, social media, and display advertising and helps to educate the team on principles and practices.
- Develops social media strategy and builds and maintains our social media presence.
- Develops and manages SEO/SEM strategy and tactics. Evaluates web page structure and tagging and collaborates with marketing managers and digital design team to optimize for conversion.
- Works with marketing and sales operations teams to monitor data quality in Marketo and ensure success metrics are established correctly for all programs in the marketing automation platform.
- Measures and reports the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
- Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.
- Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
- Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
- Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business
- Proven experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate, particularly within the fintech/financial services industry
- Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing analytics for demand generation marketing, including the use of tools like Google Analytics and SEMRush
- Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on LinkedIn and Google
- Self-motivated, quick learner with the ability to plan and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Strong organization and project management skills with an ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Strong communicator with a track record of excellence in working across sales and marketing teams
- Capability and aptitude to gain product knowledge, understand the competitive environment and learn industry terms
What success in the position looks like:
- You will build a social media plan and establish and implement procedures, content plans, and reporting. You will help establish KPIs and work to meet and exceed goals.
- You will own website optimization and establish and implement procedures for ongoing maintenance and SEO activities. You will help establish KPIs and work to meet and exceed goals.
- You will own digital operations, including the establishment of campaign workflows in Marketo, ensuring that program data is tracked accurately and that results can be measured. Your knowledge will ensure the effective and timely delivery of programs that engage and nurture prospects and customers.
- You will work closely with Sales Operations to monitor the data flow as it moves between platforms (Salesforce & Marketo), to ensure processes are optimized.
- You will design and execute new reporting formats for client acquisition, engagement, and retention campaign results and ROI.
- You will educate the Marketing Team on best practices in email marketing, automation, webpage design, analytics, and reporting.
