Digital Marketing Manager, Global Paid Social Media
The Digital Marketing Manager, Global Paid Social Media manages the day-to-day paid social media activities including the strategy, planning, implementation, optimization, and reporting of social media plans. This position will lead strategic initiatives that deliver value while continuing to evolve campaigns in alignment with the overall media strategy and working with subject matter experts across other advertising channels. Under the general guidance of the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Global Paid Media this role will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies aimed to generate leads through paid social marketing campaigns via LinkedIn Ads and other paid social channels. You will directly contribute to Dynatrace’s success and growth in digital performance management.
Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering innovative Paid Social strategies that exceed measurable objectives
- Ensure that Paid Social campaigns are managed effectively to achieve expected performance targets, including willingness to adjust working hours to support the international team
- Monitor and optimize Paid Social campaign implementations
- Monitor spend and budget to ensure that the goals are being achieved
- Liaison with experts from other teams including organic search, paid search, display and organic social
- Build strong relationships across other departments including design / brand and global field marketing teams
- Provide accurate and timely communication that details performance and return on investment via regular campaign reporting and analysis
- Assist Developing POVs around paid social marketing topics, industry trends and new opportunities while translating them into business recommendations
- Create and analyze reports out of the paid social marketing tools, Google Analytics, and Tableau
- Help prepare agendas and presentations, quarterly deep dives and business reviews
- Support paid campaign management of display campaigns (DV360) and paid search campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn) as needed
- Contribute to other digital marketing projects as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the behaviors of paid social media, advertising techniques and platform buying tools Command of paid social media best practices, how to leverage paid social advertising to increase conversions and increase the quality of traffic to the website
- 3-5 years of experience in paid social marketing especially with LinkedIn Ads, ideally in B2B technology
- Experience managing high volume paid social media campaigns
- Passion for learning the latest paid digital and paid social marketing trends and strategies
- Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret results to drive change
- Strong communication skills and comfortable presenting concepts and deliverables to internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret large quantities of campaign data
- Understanding of performance metrics and ability to spot trends or discrepancies
- Strong QA abilities with an eye for detail
- High level of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
- Knowledge of a web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), tag management tools (e.g. Google Tag Manager) is an advantage
- Ability to work autonomously
- Understanding of user experience and conversion rate optimization techniques
Exceptional candidates will include all or some of the following:
- Experience working with Google Ads and/or DV360 including Google Ads-Certifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with paid campaign for B2B software vendors
- Previous experience working with remote and international team members
- Experience with HTML and graphic tools like Adobe Illustrator
