DraftKings is seeking an analytical marketer with a strong customer marketing focus who can use data driven insights to create and implement engaging promotions and programs that drive customer retention and positive ROI.

As a marketing specialist for the Customer Lifecycle team, you will be responsible for the planning and fulfillment of marketing promotions and programs. You will play a pivotal role in the success of the business serving as the lead for bringing targeted and site-wide promotions to life for customers. A successful candidate will be a self-motivated, organized and creative individual with high attention to detail who is able to work across multiple teams to plan and execute highly visible campaigns in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with analytics partners to define audiences and develop promotions and offers that result in positive ROI
  • Partner with creative team to develop marketing assets that drive engagement with promotion
  • Work with channel owners to develop strategic promotion communication plans
  • Support channel owners by helping to develop channel communications, including building emails, in-app messaging, app pushes, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure promotions come together successfully to drive value for all teams and create a positive experience for customers
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to brainstorm new creative cross-channel promotions that are engaging and drive high return
  • Analyze data to review promotion success and help shape future promotional strategies
  • Support the creation of new automated campaigns that drive incremental value for the company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in marketing at an e-commerce company or similar role
  • HTML experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with data coding language such as SQL a plus; willingness to learn required
  • Autonomous worker with strong desire to produce high quality work
  • Well organized and high attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously often under challenging time constraints
  • Knowledgeable sports fan with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proven experience as self-starter who is comfortable in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment with the motivation to not be satisfied until a project is delivered at 110%
