JOB OVERVIEW:

This position will be responsible for creation and management of all ecommerce, marketplace, and digital marketing activities. The Digital Marketing Specialist will function as an expert in digital marketing and ecommerce space and will be empowered to lead data-driven improvements. They will develop and coordinate all marketing activities in partnership with their direct manager, internal business leaders, and the broader Digital Revenue team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (SEM, SEO, social media, email, and display advertising).

  • Create and execute a digital marketing plan and calendar in partnership with leadership

  • Manage product listings, descriptions, pricing, and promotions across ecommerce platforms and marketplaces.

  • Monitor and analyze ecommerce and marketplace performance metrics (sales, conversion rates, bounce rates, etc.).

  • Analyze ecommerce and marketplace campaign performance, report key insights, and adjust strategies based on data. Report findings in a comprehensive manner to deliver on financial performance that will impact the success of the business.

  • Use data-driven insights to improve website performance and campaign effectiveness.

  • Develop and present reporting as required.

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product management, and IT teams to align on digital strategies with business goals.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to execute web marketing activities determined to drive incremental sales growth for the division.

  • Assists in other marketing channel activities and campaigns as requested and needed

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

  • Experience in the following digital marketing disciplines: marketing automation, on-site media (ads), social media advertising, Search Engine Optimization, marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.)

GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: 

  • Good understanding of industry practices

  • Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures

  • Strong planning/organizational skills and techniques

  • Good decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good presentation and public speaking skills

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Basic conflict resolution skills

  • Developing professional credibility

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 2 to 4 or more years of increasing responsibility including a minimum of 1 year of related experience in the following digital marketing disciplines.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $61,812-$84,992 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.

This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
